### 3/5 — Help

*2020-06-07*

Once an upload fails, where does it go?

### 3/5 — App issues

*2016-04-04*

There are quite a few things wrong with this app.

1. There is not enough info about each fish. A picture isn't enough. For example I caught something that looks like a bluegill but has big teeth. There are about 4-5 know fish that look similar. But with limited info it's hard to do quick research, with the fish out of water.
Please fix!

2. There is an issue with notifications after summing a fish report. The app constantly has a notification and is really annoying because you can't not have a notification.

Please update more info on each fish!

### 3/5 — Good brief info

*2011-07-06, version 1.0*

I recently took a vacation in Florida and encountered a few snakes and lizards so when I seen this app I thought it would be of interest and it was although the app is short and sweet it clearly depicted and named the species that I had seen whilst on vacation.

### 4/5 — User

*2010-10-17*

Really nice-looking app and very informative. I'd give it 5 stars if it also told us which of the critters were dangerous or potentially fatal.

### 3/5 — Not Bad

*2010-09-19*

Should Direct link to reporting site ... Cannot Enlarge text/pages ... Needs More examples

### 1/5 — Majority going downhill

*2025-11-07*

Used to be a great app now you can hardly even work it, requires more complex passwords for everything on there now as well
Return it to how it was
(user friendly)

### 1/5 — Map wont load

*2025-04-23*

This seems like a great idea but its impossible to report a species because it requires a GPS location yet the map refuses to load so you can give it one

### 1/5 — Not good.

*2024-06-09*

An invasive lizard I reported never showed up in the app.

### 1/5 — This app is NOT easy

*2017-12-02, version 4.5.1*

I DL'd this app for 2 reasons,
#1 so I could upload the picture of the invasive New Guinea Flat worm that was on my lanai floor.
#2 because I read the app was easy to upload photos and also use.
WRONG WRONG.....
I have tried uploading this pic for almost 30 minutes..
I'm trying to do my part how bout you do yours and make the app easy like you say

### 1/5 — Does not run on iPad with ios 7.

*2014-11-30, version 4.1*

Crashes on initial page.

### 1/5 — Won't open. Keeps crashing on the first page.

*2014-11-24*

Won't open. Always crashes on the opening page.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2011-09-06*

Ye that's right it does not work

### 2/5 — App

*2026-06-28*

Very hard to use

**Developer response:** I am sorry you are having trouble with the app. There is a user guide that is accessible from the question mark icon on the top left of the initial categories scene. You are welcome to reach out through the in-app feedback feature found at the bottom of the settings menu with any questions you may have. That is a direct line to our developer and they would be glad to help however they can. The settings menu is accessible from the gear icon at the top right of the categories scene.

### 2/5 — Ok first effort, waiting for the update

*2011-07-01*

It has potential but the information is pretty lacking at this point. The design is odd as well, clicking the buttons doesn't work. You have to hold it for a second or so before it will. I thought it didn't work at first but then by chance happened to hold down a button for just long enough.

### 3/5 — Nice app but needs some changes

*2026-05-21*

The app is nice to have but when filing a report you can’t see anything. No roads no terrain nor a landmark on the map, if the app offered a satellite mode it would help a lot

**Developer response:** We have added this functionality and it can be accessed by the gear icon in the top right of the initial categories scene. The setting applies to all maps in the app. Thank you for the suggestion and for helping manage Invasives with the IveGot1 app!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great easy to use app

*2022-04-17*

Thank you for making this app. It is a great app to use, I especially like being able to scroll through and find an invasive plant specific to Florida based on pictures and common names. Very easy to draw an affected area or put a pin on a map. Thank you thank you.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2017-01-17*

Just got a job dealing with invasive plant species for the FDEP and was looking for an app exactly like this! Glad I stumbled across it! Great layout and lots of information.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2012-10-29, version 2.6*

This is a great app! I have paid for far worse than this! It is a short be well presented guide to floridas more interesting plants and animals, anyone on holiday in Florida from outside the USA should download this!

### 5/5 — Florida Native

*2012-07-06*

Awesome app!!! Been communicating with the FWC about invasive species in my area.

### 5/5 — Snakes

*2011-04-14*

It's awesome

### 4/5 — Love it but

*2025-05-28*

First time using this app and it’s really well done. However, there are no directions on how to add a species

### 4/5 — Question

*2021-06-24*

When I enter a sighting and press save, where does it go?

### 4/5 — Great way to report sightings!

*2013-07-25*

I love the app and find it a very convenient way to report invasive species. I use it while I am on walks and bike rides.

A few bugs / desires:
1) when browsing maps, and after you click on "more information" for a sighting, you can hit back, but it takes you all the way back to the main map page instead of just back one screen to where you were looking at just that one species. Kind of annoying.

2) Can you make it possible to upload more than one photo with a report? Would be good for a close up and a wide shot.

### 4/5 — Ok but needs an update

*2013-05-12*

I like this app. I would give it 5 stars but every time I try to choose a picture from my photo library to make observations, the app just crashes. Please fix this so you cam get 5 stars.

### 4/5 — Update photo upload

*2012-07-06*

This app is good but it needs the capability to upload photos from your phone when reporting a species. I don't have time to open the app, select the species, and then take a picture through the app. Instead I use my camera app and then I cant upload it when I make the report.
