I just purchased this and was super excited. Printed out the 47 page manual to get started and the app will not open. It’s frustrating.

I have been using this app for over 8 years and I still love it. I have checked out other envelope apps and they just didn’t measure up. The support is top notch, too!

This app has potential to be helpful. My husband and I use (were using) the app to monitor our family bills, budget, and expenses. It’s nothing super fancy but was a simplified and easy way to employ the envelope method of budgeting but digitally. However, we’ve experienced many pitfalls with this app. The app appears to rarely be updated by developers a huge problem considering after the last major Apple update, neither my husband or I can actually get into the app! There’s a persistent error message and no way around it. So no one way to track our data or even view it. 

Here’s the other issue, we assumed we should be able to employ the “restore” from Dropbox function on our family iPad since that older version is somehow working. Nope! The app allowed us to resync to Dropbox and instead of pulling information from a few days ago when the app was working it wiped out everything! 

So in sum the Pros of this App:
- Simplified digital budgeting using the envelope method 
- transactions organized by date 
- ability to create envelop categories 
- ability to share across devices 

Cons:
- Very few updates 
- App inaccessible with latest Apple Update 
- When app was working it would crash often 
- when working takes a long time for any input to load and appear on the transaction screen 
- Cannot rearrange order of envelopes automatically or by a drag and drop 
- Cannot delete envelopes without permanently screwing up all of your accounts 
- Cannot collapse envelopes in an envelope category 
- Sometimes has syncing errors in which a transaction shows up twice 
- Transactions are automatically sorted by date and in alphabetical order not by date and time, so double checking with bank accounts can be challenging. 
- connecting with a Dropbox account for added sync and backup isn’t helpful 
- little to no helpful information exists in contacting developers or getting support with app issues

This is by far my favorite budget app that I've ever used. I've tried out so many and none of them work with my income better than this one. My one complaint is the design, I wish it had a more modern design or that the colors were customizable. That would be great. I'm not a fan of the style/colors.

Best envelope budget app thus far.  Does what it's supposed to without the glitches. Easy to learn. PDF manual walks you through basic use and shows some of the other perks. Love projections!  Great job!

This is one of those apps that needs more of a spotlight.  After looking t and trying several budget apps, I came across this app close to the bottom of he list.  I love the PDF user guide.  Very helpful in understanding the program.  I wanted an envelope app that let me have accounts.  This app is perfect,  I can set up my envelopes and know exactly how much money I have left.  

The app allows for reaccuring transactions and scheduling payments in the future (like for upcoming bills). There is a slight learning curve for navigation around it but it is a powerful software.  The only this it is missing is a built in calculator.  Other then that the app is perfect.  iPad friendly version and iCloud sync would be nice.  It does have Dropbox sync.  This works well for backing up or changing between devices.  Or you can use the auto sync (have to have service to enter items however).  

Again, great program for anyone wanting to use an electronic envelope service.  I use it daily and it works awesome.

While many others rave about this app, I just can't.  It is not easy to set up....there's a file that you need to use to get everything where it belongs. It's not something you can just jump in and intuitively use.  I just don't have the time or patience to utilize this. Sorry.

I had been withholding my review waiting on an update that would allow syncing between devices, and as promised via email by the developer, it's here and works perfectly! That one update took this app from great status to perfect. I use it extensively.

I mentioned that the developer took the time to personally respond to my request for an update, but he also emailed periodically (unprompted) to give me status updates, and finally to let me know that the update was available. Can you really find better???

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Works perfectly for those following a Dave Ramsey program.

This is, exactly, the app I was looking for.  I looked through a ton of budgeting apps before I found this one and it was worth the wait.  The user guide on the website was very helpful and I would recommend reading it before trying to figure everything out on your own.  Thanks for a great app!
