Covers museums, architecture, events, walks, and more. You won’t be at a loss for things to do in Vienna with this app. Does not waste space with lodging and dining info. However, if you swipe through the Highlights section, you will be offered the opportunity to complete a survey, for which you will be rewarded with a “Viennese design classic” and a drawing for one of 5 cube clocks. But when you enter the survey, the prizes change to one of 3 watches. And after you complete the survey you find out that the drawing was December, 2024. Somebody isn’t keeping this app up-do-date! ### 4/5 — Irgendwie unvollständig *2025-03-23* Der Eintrag „Gib uns Feedback“ in der App führt zu „Formular nicht vorhanden“ bei Microsoft. Ist diese triviale Funktion etwa kein regelmäßiger Regressionstestfall? Ich würde gern mein Hotel als Ausgangspunkt meiner Touren hinterlegen – Hotels kennt die App aber nicht, als ob das für Touristen die Ausnahme wäre. Ich habe die App und mein Handy, um mich zu identifizieren. Dann brauche ich aus meiner Sicht keinen Login. Schließlich brauche ich eine zusätzliche App für das U-Bahn-Netz. Angesichts dieser Unzulänglichkeiten überlege ich, ob ich dieser App meine Vienna City Card anvertrauen kann. ### 2/5 — Cannot link City Card *2024-10-21, version 3.10.0* Downloaded the app which has lots of information but the main reason was to link my City Card for travel in a couple of weeks time. Auch die persönlichen Tips wären super, wenn nicht das absolute Manko der App überragt: Datenverbrauch und permanentes Einfrieren verdirbt den Spaß. Ergebnis: ich habe die App wieder gelöscht. Bitte fixen. ### 3/5 — Eigentlich Klasse, aber nicht für Öffi Ticket *2023-10-24* Die App ist super, um sich für die Wien Reise inspirieren zu lassen. Allerersten habe ich zwei große Kritikpunkte. Erste ist der Verbrauch mobiler Daten extrem hoch, bei mir wurden in zwei Tagen 1,5 GB verbraucht, vieles davon im Hintergrund. Zweitens, und das war für mich viel ärgerlicher: ich hatte mir das Öffi ich über die App gekauft und am Abreisetag, als wir es sehr eilig hatten, bei einer Kontrolle wollte ich dieses vorzeigen und die App meldete bloß, dass sie mich aus Sicherheitsgründen nach einiger Zeit ausgeloggt habe. Das wäre ja kein Problem, wenn denn das Einloggen nicht so ein Krampf wäre. Das (richtige) Passwort wird nicht akzeptiert, ein zurücksetzen nicht möglich, da das neue Passwort nicht gültig sei. Zum Glück akzeptierte der Kontrolleur die Rechnung des Öffi Tickets als Nachweis, so dass wir weizer konnten und den Anschlusszug noch erwischt haben... ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Always freezing *2025-09-17* I love the idea of this app, but in use it’s so slow (it kept freezing and I’d have to force quit). I couldn’t use the audio guide or pick what I wanted to listen to- it would never load. It was good to have the map and then I would Google the landmarks to find the route. Möchte man die gekauften City Cards hinzufügen wird jedes Mal ein Update der App verlangt. Jedoch ist die aktuellste Version installiert.
