Crashes now and won’t open. App just closes after signing in and can’t see jobs ### 1/5 — Crashes *2023-01-07, version 1.95.1* This is not good! Needs option to sync over cellular. 2FA constant logout is insane. ### 1/5 — Bad login process *2025-11-22, version 25.10.1* Doesn’t save your login. Makes you wait for a code and THEN says invalid login eg. you just wasted a minute of typing and waiting for email. And it’s the most backwards login process that just wastes my time, so far away from industry standard login. Takes 30 clicks to update maps, horrible update process ### 1/5 — No Auto Sync *2025-10-09* App still doesn’t automatically sync map data. Have to do this daily. 2FA boots me every few weeks. It was working perfectly yesterday. This app decides to change it to justify somebody’s job. For someone that uses it out of necessity this is one of the worse platforms someone could use. If there was a selection for zero stars that’s what I would rate this app. Please read this and DO NOT fall into the same trap my company did when we got this. One of the most horrible and pathetic work related thing we deal with. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great app *2019-01-02* I am a GIS Admin and Staking Engineer for a Coop. Have been very pleased with the continued integration of this app. We use for all field employees to key time, mobile maps (both live and offline TPK files), inspections, and now DocVault integration. I had our annual pole testing done this year with this app and it worked seamlessly. Imported all dated with a few clicks, from AppSuite into Mapwise. Then also had the inspectors take a pic of every structure and it uploads to DocVault for later viewing from both this app and mapwise. I also have uploaded drone inspection data, so the field personnel can view from AppSuite. Very nice and great support from NISC. ### 5/5 — Great app *2015-05-15, version 1.11.0* I'm a lineman at a TN coop. This app is very useful in the field. It has great maps and costumer info on the go. Very handy for outage management. Great job guys and please keep listening to the users and making improvements ### 4/5 — Great app, keep working on improvements *2025-01-06* We’ve recently been onboarded with the NISC enterprise and are very pleased at how all the pieces of our business are connected fairly well in a one stop shop app ### 2/5 — 2FA Fail *2025-04-28, version 25.3.0* Why does enabling two factor authentication continuously kick me out of the app? I have to sign back in about once a week. This is ridiculous. It’s especially insulting that there is a remember me checkbox where you put in the challenge request code. Also, why am I still not able to get notifications when I get simple items such as an invoice or employee time to approve? There’s a reason this app is always floating in the twos with respect to rating. ### 2/5 — Years Later Still Issues *2024-02-01* We have been using this for many years and it still has a lot of issues. It just gets tiring and frustrating. All of our maps should be off-line so they always load. There is no reason it should need to connect to the Internet for that. It just occasionally won’t dry your maps and you have to scroll around until it does. The whole thing just needs a lot of tweaks, because it has some serious potential. ### 2/5 — Worse over time not better *2022-10-12, version 1.92.1* The latest changes (2022)have been a disaster as far as user interface, reliability and overall satisfaction. Extremely inconsistent between users in the same group with the same phone. Whoever they lost as a developer and thought could make it without, they didn’t!
