## What is Ivy6?

SIX PRIORITIES. ONE CLEAR DAY.

Long to-do lists create noise. Ivy6 helps you decide what truly matters, focus on one task at a time, and finish the day with a plan you can trust.

Built around the Ivy Lee Method, Ivy6 turns a century-old productivity ritual into a focused daily planner for iPhone, iPad, and Mac:

1. Capture everything in your Inbox.
2. Choose your six most important tasks.
3. Put them in priority order.
4. Work through them one at a time.
5. Reconsider unfinished work with a clean daily reset.

YOUR DAILY 6

Commit to no more than six priorities for the day. The limit helps you choose deliberately instead of carrying an endless list from one day to the next.

DEEP WORK, ONE TASK AT A TIME

Start a distraction-free focus session for your current priority. Use a stopwatch, countdown, or Pomodoro-style timer and track the time you give to meaningful work.

CAPTURE NOW, PRIORITIZE LATER

Keep ideas, errands, and future tasks in your Inbox until they deserve a place in today’s plan. Add estimates, recurring routines, and reminders to make planning easier.

A FRESH START EVERY DAY

At the daily reset, unfinished tasks return to your Inbox for a conscious decision. Completed work stays in your history, so tomorrow begins without yesterday’s clutter.

BUILT FOR THE APPLE ECOSYSTEM

• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
• Live Activities and Dynamic Island during focus sessions
• Siri Shortcuts for quick capture and your next priority
• Read-only calendar context beside your Daily 6

UNDERSTAND HOW YOU WORK

Review completed tasks, focus time, streaks, rollover patterns, and stale work. Ivy6 helps you plan a realistic day and improve the way you choose priorities—not simply count more tasks.

### 1/5 — Should be great

*2026-07-07*

Appears to be a very straightforward app and should be easy to use however no directions so it’s not good to try and guess how to use it. I make two task to start and swiped to move to daily and when I hit complete for day one they did not transfer to my next days task that disappointing they should automatically go to daily meaning each day that week. What am I missing

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the confusion. In Ivy6, moving a task to “Daily” means adding it to today’s focus list, not automatically making it repeat every day. Once you complete that task, it is marked done for that day and won’t appear again tomorrow.

If you want a task to come back each day, add it as a recurring task and choose “Recurrence” → “Daily” when creating it. We can see how the wording is confusing, especially since “Daily” can sound like “every day,” so we’ll work on making the instructions and labels clearer.

Thanks for pointing this out. It helps me improve the onboarding and make the app easier to understand.
