## What is iwant2eat?

Not just another recipe keeper. iwant2eat is a recipe cloud for your whole family: one collection, synced on every device, shared with the people you cook with, and AI built into every step.

Your recipes don't live on one phone. They live in your account — on your iPhone, on any computer, in any browser — and they're there for everyone you invite.

ONE COLLECTION, EVERY DEVICE
• Save a recipe on the computer and it's on your phone a moment later. No export, no "sync now" button.
• It also runs in any web browser, so everyone in the family can use it, whatever phone they carry.
• New phone? Sign in and everything is there. A lost phone takes nothing with it.
• No signal in the kitchen? Keep your recipes, list and meal plan on the phone and they stay readable offline.
• Your shopping list on the home screen, with the widget.

ONE SUBSCRIPTION FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
• Invite up to five family members into your collection. Each gets their own sign-in, and you decide who can view, add or edit.
• Members don't pay: one subscription covers all six of you.
• One live shopping list: add milk from the couch and it's already on the phone of whoever is at the store.
• Plan the week together, from the recipes you already have.
• Send any recipe by link. It opens without an account, and the reader can see it in their own language.
• Turn a collection into a printable family cookbook (PDF), even in another language for the grandchildren.

AI THAT WORKS ON YOUR OWN RECIPES
• Save from anywhere: share a post, reel or page from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube or Safari; snap a cookbook page or a handwritten card; dictate a recipe; or forward an email to recipe@iwant2eat.com. AI turns each into a clean recipe with ingredients, amounts, steps, times, servings and nutrition.
• Video recipes too: when the recipe is only spoken, it's taken from the narration.
• Ask your whole collection: "What can I make in 30 minutes?" "Which of my desserts are gluten-free?" The answer comes from your recipes, not from the internet.
• Translate any recipe into any of 31 languages with one tap: grandma's Russian recipe in English, an American blog in Spanish.
• AI sorts a pile of recipes into collections, plans your week from your own dishes, and merges five versions of borscht into one.

MADE FOR THE STOVE
• Cooking mode: one step at a time in big type, read aloud, voice commands ("next", "repeat"), and the screen stays on.
• Scale by servings, or type the amount you actually have, and the whole recipe follows.
• Metric or US units, °C or °F. Calories, macros and allergen warnings per serving.

STILL YOURS
• Private by default: nothing is public unless you share it, and your recipes are never used to train AI.
• No ads, no feed of strangers' dishes.
• Stop paying and nothing is deleted. Export the whole collection whenever you like.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.7 — 2026-10-28

Facebook posts now import: share a recipe post (photos or text) from Facebook to iwant2eat and it's saved, just like reels. A progress note now shows while a shared page is being read.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-27

Small improvements and fixes.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-27

Sharing an Instagram reel or post now saves just that post, without pictures from the author's other posts.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-24

• Opening the app from the home-screen widget after a long break no longer leaves a blank white screen.
• Add a recipe by voice: tap the microphone on the Add recipe bar and dictate it in any language.
