### 2/5 — Don’t buy yet

*2024-01-16*

This is not an efficient app. Not well thought thru from a user pov. I’d ask for my money back if I didn’t think getting it back would be far harder than the $1.99 is worth…so good for them for making $1.99.
Not good deleting or editing options for scanned items in ur custom lists.
The ability to scan barcodes is nice but I’ve had a number of skus that the app didn’t have in its database…be aware.
Doesn’t explain things well…like the colored food lists…
Doesn’t currently have a faq section.

### 2/5 — Not calculating correctly

*2023-08-09*

When I enter numbers in the food calculator there isn’t a spot to add in sugars, so the points are calculated wrong.

Also, it’s totaling my daily points incorrectly. The app developer’s website shows a different amount of daily points versus what is calculated in the app. 29 points versus 59 points is a huge difference!

### 1/5 — Ads make it impossible to submit information

*2022-12-28*

I can’t submit any of my information because there are ads hovering over the submit button that I cannot get rid of! I paid for this app! I’m beyond annoyed.

**Developer response:** There is a fix for this in version 2.4. Sorry for any inconvenience.

### 1/5 — Scanning

*2024-08-17, version 2.7*

I cannot see how to scan a barcode.

### 1/5 — Charged without authorization

*2024-07-22*

I was checking out FREE weight loss apps. I downloaded this app but when it went so far that stated there was a monthly fee, I deleted the app. I never agreed to pay a monthly fee, yet now I have a charge on my cc.

### 1/5 — Nothing in the app works

*2024-02-21, version 2.7*

Can’t save, add, or do anything with the app

### 1/5 — Not calculating correctly

*2024-01-30*

Update: for the developer to say “you are wrong” is unhelpful to customers trying to use the app.

### 1/5 — Deb

*2023-08-25*

Why is a credit card necessary to complete user info?

### 1/5 — Waste of $2

*2023-08-24*

Not much but if I PAY for an app I don’t want to get a new ad at the bottom of the page every time I click something!!! There are no explanations of anything. And if I type in a food I HAVE TO INPUT THE POINTS VALUE MYSELF!!! Otherwise I have to use the microphone to speak in a food and I am not allowing microphone use to a questionable app!!!

USELESS WASTE OF $2!!!!

### 1/5 — Credit card

*2023-07-02*

Why am I required to put my credit card number in to complete this?

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2023-02-18*

Want my money back…

### 1/5 — Paid app with ads

*2023-02-07*

Paid for this app $1.99 and it has ads- awful

### 1/5 — Requires additional purchases

*2023-01-01*

In order for this app to scan products to enter your points, you have to purchase another scanner app that costs $6.99 per week! Disappointing.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your input although all scanning should be free. If there is anything indicating something other than that, please let me know and I will consult the scanning technology, databases, and company we work with.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — False information

*2024-04-22*

App info says you can scan food barcodes…this is not true you have to download and pay for another app. On their app you have to enter all the individual info from the label…not the ease of a food scanner!!

### 5/5 — Review

*2024-04-05*

The site is easy to use

### 5/5 — New

*2023-02-20*

Just installed figuring it out

**Developer response:** Love you Pat, you need anything? I got you.

### 4/5 — The app

*2024-07-01, version 2.7*

It beats paying 12.00 or more a month for the weight watchers app.

### 4/5 — A few tweaks needed

*2023-11-17, version 2.7*

I think this app is absolutely brilliant apart from the fact on the self added custom list you cannot delete an individual entry only the whole custom list ☹️ I would give it 5 stars if I could fully customise the custom list. Thanks. 😬

### 4/5 — Great App

*2023-03-14*

Loving the app so far, makes it much easier to track things for me and double check points and such. There’s only a couple things I’d like to see: a way to create recipes for food and save them so you don’t have to try and individually track each ingredient, and a way to personally save food so that you can always have access to them. Other than that, this app is great!

### 3/5 — I like it but…

*2025-05-31*

Even though it’s a free alternative to Weight Watchers, I wish you could change the serving amount when you use something other than the listed serving size.

I also wish you could delete an item from the custom list if you no longer use it or even make a mistake when entering the information.

### 3/5 — The old app.

*2023-10-30*

I liked the old version of this app. I don’t like that to access the different charts you now have to pay a monthly fee. I have used it in the past and lost the weight which was great! To get it to work now, I had to delete the old app and pay again for it. Which, that part I didn’t really mind. Oh well. 🙃

**Developer response:** This app hasn't been updated in almost a year. Weight watchers made sure of that. There is no monthly fee. If Apple is charging you a monthly fee, please let me know. Because it diminishes the legitimacy of my integrity and as the developer, unrelated to them.

### 3/5 — Pretty good, needs some improvements

*2023-01-02*

The app is pretty simple to use. There’s no added fluff, it’s just intended to track points which is great. A minor gripe I have is that when I add the nutritional info into calculator the app automatically moves the screen so I can’t see the point value anymore. I would like the view to stay the same so I am able to see the point value as I add the info. The biggest issue I have with the app is that when I add a custom food to my list and then try to add it to the daily food diary, I am unable to change the serving size. For example if I added 1 cup of white rice to the list but am only eating 1/2 cup, I cannot enter that I am eating half a serving. In order to add 1/2 cup of white rice I would have to go back to the custom food list and add the nutritional info for 1/2 cup of white rice. I have never used a food tracking app that does not have this feature, which makes me wonder if I’m the dumb one and I just can’t figure out how to do it. If this is a user error, I would love to hear from the app developers on what I’m doing wrong!

### 2/5 — Liked old app better…

*2024-02-10*

I’ve had success with WW (tracking in older version of app) in past and wanted to count points again. The old app worked well but wasn’t able to download the one I had. So I paid for this one (icon looks exactly like old app). Price was reasonable but it seems to me there are LESS features than there were before-for instance, I’m pretty sure there was an option to do 1/2 portions of items already in custom list. Also it’s seems there’s no way to delete entries from custom list. And also no database to search? voice search is added feature, but I also liked to be able to see options in database-pretty sure they had they had this in earlier version. And a way to connect to my Apple Watch would be nice as well. There’s another app I found that tracks points (unfortunately, after I purchased this one again) that seems to have much more features.
