The message I get is sever down. What ? ### 5/5 — Finally! *2014-08-29, version 2.0* This is a no-brainer. Love the fact that it instantly sends your video to the cloud. Flashing light and noise not a good idea. Also isn't one touch activation. Had to submit and re-submit. Great idea. Lousy application. Don't you think they will force u to toss the phone when they see it!! It asked for a password from me too upon initial setup. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Code never appears, puts users in danger *2023-10-29, version 4.5.5* I have tried to sign up for this app several times using both my own email + phone number or a friend’s number or a brand new Google voice number. Each time I’ve tried to do so, the app accepts the info but then a code never appears as a message to verify. I am terrified the verification codes will show up randomly when my husband takes control of my phone. I thought this phone would be helpful in documenting abuse but I fear it’s put me in more danger. ### 1/5 — Hey *2022-01-17, version 4.2.2* It keep opening and closing why that about ### 1/5 — The key features beyond 911 calling do not work *2021-11-14, version 4.2.2* Granting access to the application in iOS is not detected by the app. Repeatedly asks for access. Does not send either real or Demo Mode (turns off only 911 access) video despite access and record button timer indicating video is being captured. After repeated sends nothing is sent and no real or Demo Mode output is sent to either the emergency contact OR the cloud storage. In an emergency this would be impossible to navigate and entirely unreliable. ### 1/5 — Unable to reset the password *2020-09-09, version 4.2.2* I was charred over an year when I didn’t even have the app installed on my phone. No updates or emails. I couldn’t even open the page to reset my password. ### 1/5 — Needed help *2019-09-25* The app wanted me to sign in and it wasn’t excepting my sign in. I was counting on this for help. Instead my boyfriend beat the crap out of me once again. I really needed the help and I thought the app could help but NO WAY. He collapsed my lungs and started kicking me there again and possibly broke some ribs. I want my money back and to unsubscribe. How when I can’t sign in. Could you please discontinue my subscription? When you click on RECORD a window opens stating I need to renew my subscription. I click on the renew choosing the $29.99 per year and a window opens stating my subscription is paid through April 2019. It’s a dead en and the program is worthless to me as it is not operational. I will have to write to AppleCare explaining my problem as IWitness appears to only be interested in sale with no support. Customer service is not helpful. It’s really smooth and fast and easy to use. I like the interface how it’s very simple but does everything I need it to. Living in a city I see soooo much crime on a weekly basis. I have tried recording some violence but quickly realize that calling the police is a better use of my time. However I can’t get video footage while I’m calling the cops. I love that this app can do both at the same time and send my husband and kids my exact location. I don’t like to feel scared in my own city and this iwitness app helps me with that. Like I can be recording something bad happening in my neighborhood between kids and it’s automatically notifying my mom where I’m at.
