## What is izco?

You look. They know.

Every time you check a friend's location, they're notified instantly. izco is a new location-sharing app where finding someone
never has to be a secret.

WHY izco

・When you look, they know
Each location check sends a push notification to your friend. No silent tracking, no hidden eyes — just transparent, mutual awareness.

・End-to-end encryption
Your location is encrypted on your device, and only your friends can decrypt it. Not izco, not any third party — your location stays yours, technically and absolutely.

・Just the rough distance and direction
The radar screen shows where your friends are with intentional fuzziness. Within 1km is shown at the center, farther is shown in steps. You don't always need to know exactly where someone is.

・Pinpoint only when you ask
When you want to know exactly where a friend is, tap to "Check Location" — and only then, their precise position appears on a map, while they receive a notification that you did.

PERFECT FOR

・Meeting up with friends — see who's already on the way
・Long-distance relationships — "are you on your way home?"
・Quietly checking in on family without being intrusive
・Festivals, trips, gatherings — finding your group
・Letting family know where you are during travel

KEY FEATURES

・Radar view of all your friends' approximate locations
・Tap to check exact location, with notification to your friend
・Check history — see everyone who ever checked on you
・Hidden mode — toggle off sharing instantly, with time-based auto-resume
・Friend invites via 6-character code or deep link, both sides must approve
・Per-friend nicknames
・Mute and block controls
・Distance units: km / miles / walking minutes / driving minutes
・Battery-efficient — built on iOS Significant Location Change and Geofence APIs

OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT

izco is built on the belief that your location belongs to you and your friends — no one else.

・Locations are encrypted on your device before reaching our servers
・We store only encrypted data; we do not hold the keys to decrypt it
・Even law enforcement requests cannot retrieve location data — it is technically impossible for us to provide
・Metadata (email, login history, etc.) is retained for the minimum necessary period
