The iZone Home App is the perfect way to control your Smart Home on your iPhone and iPad. You can manage your whole system from this app including your Aircon, lighting, irrigation, garage door, blinds, 240 Volt appliances, air quality and power monitoring. iZone is an inexpensive plug & play, wireless, home automation system that gives you total control of the following iZone services:
 
• iZone Air Conditioning – Total air conditioning integration including the major brands of A/C units and includes individual room temperature control in up to 14 zones.
• iZone Lights – Total control of your iZone RGB Downlights and bulbs or dimming and control of non iZone LEDs via the iZone dimmer module or wired switch module.

I had to phone Izone after the app on my iPad and iPhone kept crashing when loading. The reason was due to a recent update on 11-aug-26 - that won’t allow room names to contain an exclamation mark (like Daddy’s room). I had to edit those room names on the control panel, delete and reinstall the apps on my iPad and phone. Then when I opened them, all was fine.

The developers need to fix this bug, so others don’t have to share the pain.

Would be great if the air conditioner could be programmed to be turned on as well as off. Currently the app only has a sleep setting for switching it off. I would like to be able schedule it to turn the heat on in the mornings so it’s not so cold getting up. Unfortunately this isn’t possible in the app.

The App features are great. User friendly and useful automation options. But sorry to say the App feedback through the gateway connection within the house wifi is extremely laggy and often takes 30 seconds to a minute to register adjustments being made. If user is remote and accessing through the app over the internet, the gateway connection and feedback to update will either not follow requested changes or take several minutes to act on the changes. The Gateway, and App working together needs enhancing.

The above is constructive feedback to improve the very costly system. 

As mentioned features are great just usability through the app is agonisingly slow and often not responsive. 

Good luck and looking forward to updates as soon as possible. New user installed 2-3 months ago.

When they brought out the update a few years ago, it was really annoying but at least you could still run the old theme/version. Now, whenever you select the old version, once you leave the app it auto reverts to the new theme. The new theme doesn’t even have the same level of information as the old one, you have to turn on the aircon to get the current temperature.

The revised UI is so user unfriendly stuck with the old interface. Now latest update doesn’t even allow you to keep the old UI set and have to dig through menu every time you open it up. 
Overall app works ok but interface needs a lot of rework to make easier to use.
