### 2/5 — This is not as good and twice the cost!

*2023-10-08*

Radical volume fluctuations when calling or receiving calls from or to the same locations. The one I had prior to this one never did this. Twice as expensive and half the satisfaction.

**Developer response:** Hello- Thank you for writing a review. We are truly sorry to hear that. We would not expect this behavior and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We recommend contacting the Jabra Support Team: https://bit.ly/2xbNtEb. We are always here to help. Thanks, again. User feedback is truly valuable to us.

### 2/5 — Connectivity issues continue

*2020-02-04*

The revision to the app has not resolved issues with the iPhone 8+. Headset drops in and out of connection, Jabra assist will not run, no announcements.

**Developer response:** Hi jwr_red- Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that you are having this trouble connecting your Jabra device with the Sound+ app. Please be sure that you have a strong Wi-Fi or data connection on your phone, and that you disable any “power saving” or “battery optimization” settings on your phone. ### 1/5 — Major FAIL - Text message read/out only on Android?

*2020-01-14, version 2.13*

Congratulations, you’ve omitted the most valuable safety feature, reading text messages to drivers.

### 1/5 — Connect

*2020-01-09, version 2.13*

If it connects to your device, you’re the lucky one. My elite 65t aren’t shown on the bloody screen

### 1/5 — What’s exactly is the point of this App?

*2020-01-04, version 2.13*

I can’t really see what the point of this App is? You can’t actually change any settings of the talk 45 using it other than enabling the option to playback your messages.

### 1/5 — New Apple update earpiece doesn’t work

*2019-10-01*

Got the new update for my iPhone and now I am unable to use my earpiece to make phone calls. I have to say hey Siri Ron my phone to make calls.

I like this earpiece, but probably going to have to start using AirPods now.

**Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for your review. We are sorry to learn that you are unable to make phone calls with your Jabra device, this is definitely not what we would expect. We kindly suggest that you reach out to our Technical Support Team, as we would like to learn more about this and provide you with a solution: https://www.jabra.com/contact/support/jabra-support-consumer. We look forward to hearing from you!

### 1/5 — It crashes and is not usable

*2019-07-03*

The app crashes when I connect it to the Jabra Tour. When it is not connected it doesn’t crash but gives a “Somethings wrong!” message. Thus, the app has no use except taking up space on my phone.

**Developer response:** Hello cr142, This is not what you should expect. Please contact our support team so that we can work to resolve this. Thank you. https://bit.ly/2wIr6ln

### 1/5 — Useless

*2019-05-08, version 2.11.6*

Provides little to value

### 2/5 — Not showing battery

*2019-01-07, version 2.11.6*

It’s not showing any battery as picture depicts in fact none of the settings work apart from choosing your version and registration

### 2/5 — It doesn't show my model

*2018-12-30, version 2.11.6*

You need to update your app so that it shows instructions for ALL models, for example my Jabra BT2046 Is not shown and it's not letting me pair my new earphones to my iPhone 4s

### 1/5 — Where’s my Jabra y’all 35???

*2018-12-14*

I purchase Jabra 35 Bluetooth because I read the reviews on how good this product is but when I got home I couldn’t pair it with the Jabra assist because it wasn’t up there😏 So If I lose it, it’s just lost😡 now way to find it

### 1/5 — Sorry but Jabra are utter 💩

*2018-10-16, version 2.11.5*

Not only is my Freeway a pile of rubbish which doesn’t understand English accents, even when I say “baddery” in my best American accent, but this app is also pointless, I can’t check my firmware nor update it. Having said that, they haven’t worked on the firmware for over a year anyway so it seems they just don’t care about existing customers. They seem to spend more money on marketing.

### 2/5 — Not complaining but....

*2018-10-10*

This app would be wonderful if it had my updated jabra Bluetooth on here. They should already have the Bluetooth device available FIRST on his app before the product is released to buy in stores. I lost my Bluetooth one day and really needed to find it but couldn’t. If I purchase a device in the store and it specifically say that it supports the “Find my Bluetooth” then I should be able to do so.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Disconnect, reconnect, disconnect, reconnect, disconnect

*2024-10-19*

The only reason I use this piece of equipment is because of its size and call quality. Otherwise I get so frustrated with it. I have to turn it off all the time. The app Jabra Assist is useless.

**Developer response:** Thank you for reviewing the Jabra Assist app. We are always looking for feedback on our products, and we appreciate you for sharing this. If you have more to share, please contact us (https://fal.cn/3AAZd). We are more than happy to listen!

### 1/5 — Talk 65?

*2024-04-10*

Neither app supports the Talk 65? As new as it is? One star until app support is available.

**Developer response:** Hello YBPC1 - Thank you for reviewing the Jabra Assist App and for your suggestion! We will definitely consider adding support for the Jabra Talk 65 to the Sound+ app.

### 1/5 — Not all products

*2022-11-29, version 2.14*

Not showing talk 65

### 1/5 — They’re just wanting to track you

*2022-06-23*

Worthless app that requires ALWAYS ON location tracking to do its only potentially slightly useful function.

**Developer response:** Hello AvidReviewerWithLongMemory - The Jabra Assist app collects location data for use with some of the app features.  The data is saved only on your mobile device and is not sent anywhere else.  Thank you.

### 1/5 — Does very little

*2021-08-31, version 2.14*

This app doesn’t do anything with the cheaper models of headset. Just use the website. I had hoped for settings as I can’t hear nav directions in the car even with the volume turned to max! Disappointed.

### 1/5 — Can’t pair to my device.

*2021-04-25, version 2.14*

This app has no support for the BT2045.
A bit strange I thought considering that I see a lot of people using this model (it was even recommended by a business associate)

### 1/5 — Don’t download this app. It is useless

*2020-10-26*

I don’t know why Jabra makes this app. It doesn’t have any functionality.

**Developer response:** Hello edpdxvan - Jabra Assist currently supports the following headsets: Boost, Classic, Drive, Eclipse, Elite 25e, Freeway, Halo Free, Halo Fusion, Halo Smart, Mini, Stealth, Steel, Storm, Streamer, Style, Tour, Talk 25, Talk 30, Talk 45, Talk 55. Thank you!

### 1/5 — No locations tracking

*2020-08-17, version 2.14*

One of e core feature of the app is the location tracking so you can find the last known location of the headset. It doesn’t work. The app tracks location of the headset only if it’s running and in the foreground. If you don’t bring the app to the foreground, it doesn’t record to location. When I’m using my headset, I’m using other apps; I don’t want to remember to bring this app to the foreground every time. (Yes, I have background running turned on as well as always using location.)

### 1/5 — No option to find jabra elite sport headphones

*2020-07-02, version 2.13*

No Jabra elite sport.

### 1/5 — Just pointless

*2020-05-04, version 2.13*

I just can’t see the purpose of this app, struggling desperately to connect my Jabra Halo Smart to my new iPhone, does not appear on my Bluetooth list as discovered. Please help.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Not to shabby indead

*2020-06-14, version 2.13*

Meh😐

### 5/5 — Jabra Assist

*2019-09-09, version 2.13*

Very very nice app. Five stars all the way. One thing though that would make it much nicer is if you could be in more control with calls and sound. For example a HearThrough setting or noise reduction and things like that would significantly improve the app.

### 5/5 — IOS 10.2 update

*2016-12-26, version 2.8.5*

Love this Jabra Eclipse when I could use it. With the IOS 10.2 update, it doesn't work. I contacted Apple but they were of no help at all! So I have a $130.00 Bluetooth that is worthless? Yes, before someone asked, I reset, uninstalled and reinstalled too. I need answers!

### 5/5 — Works fine for me!

*2016-05-08, version 2.1*

Not sure why so many people are complaining? Perhaps they don't know how to use an app with an iPhone? I'm using the jabra eclipse headset and as soon as I launched the app first thing I checked was for a software update. Quickly downloaded it and updated to version 1.29. Took less than 5 minutes.

Afterwards I played with the other features of the app like changing my settings to allow the option to mute calls while on a phone call. The different tapping options for controlling my settings. As well as switching my earbuds setting for enhanced clarity while on calls (default is normal). So I'm surprised to see so many complaints from people who are unsure as to what other features are lacking on this app. Everything thus far has been working fine for me.

I even played with the lost headset piece and while it doesn't make your headset glow in the dark to help you find it. It does offer a simple mildly helpful solution to aid in its search. Just don't play the lost tone while its in your ear... I made that mistake. It hurts.

Battery function for the device is also clearly listed while on the home page of the app. But not sure why you need it. Your iPhone displays it next to the Bluetooth icon. Additionally, just tapping the headset will tell you how much time you have left too. Oh well I suppose people expect this app to turn you headset into a sandwich maker or something and therefore must complain about "lack of features".

This app does what I expect it to. Keep my device updated, changing features/options, battery status, and location of lost device. I've tested and used these options multiple times and never crashed on me or never not worked as expected. People, I think just need to learn to use tech and understand what the purpose of this app is. No... Sorry it will not make that sandwich. But with your hands free device you can just make it yourself I guess.

### 5/5 — New SW with Eclipse

*2016-03-07, version 2.1*

This app do many more or less useful things.... Used it to get the latest firmware in my Eclipse headset - wirelessly. Works great.

### 5/5 — Works great on eclipse

*2015-11-18, version 2.1*

This works great on the eclipse

### 5/5 — Great app

*2015-06-28, version 1.8*

Good app that actually adds major value. Using with the Jabra Stealth. Adds "find my Bluetooth" features as well as "find my car" great benefit.

### 5/5 — 5 stars

*2015-05-12, version 1.8*

Downloaded this app with my new Bluetooth and wow I am impressed! Works great shows battery life and you can track it if it's lost or stolen!

### 5/5 — REALY GOOD

*2014-07-26, version 1.6*

I am younger and do not have a car yet, but I have lost my Jabra Bluetooth piece and have found it using the app

### 4/5 — Better

*2019-08-17*

3rd followup:
I downloaded and installed the new version (2.13). Opened the app after my phone had connected to the Jabra Tour. No crash; so far, so good.

2nd followup:
After having reinstalled the app, it worked fine for a time, then began its previous behavior of crashing when starting if the Jabra Tour was connected. Rebooting the phone did not help, so I tried deleting and reinstalling the app again. It worked without crashing, while connected, again. I'll reserve judgment and wait and see how the app will behave. This is on an iPhone 6s running iOS 12.3.1. ....I didn't have to wait long; the app had been working ok; I then opened the app when the Tour was not yet connected, but when the Tour did connect, the app crashed again.

Followup post:
I contacted Jabra tech support about this app crashing, and was advised to first delete the app, power cycle the phone (shut it off and then turn it back on) and then reinstall the app. The app now works without a problem. I've updated my rating accordingly.

Original post:
Like other reviews have said, this app will immediately crash if the Jabra Tour is connected via Bluetooth. If the Tour isn't connected at all, the app won't crash; but then what's the point of using the app?

**Developer response:** Hello Soxfan42 - We are sorry you are experiencing this! We will share your report with the team and investigate this further. Thank you.
