But lo and behold, the ads are back, bigger and more intrusive than ever! Its hard to get him to read with me. Which block the view of the story The ads is horribly place with its wide banner , and get in the way, I've seen other apps that has ads , but it position it in a way that does not interfere with the apps usage . There's no touch on each individual words and have it read out loud Otherwise it's almost a solid 4 , but with these interference , it's a 1 star, till these suggestion are made ### 1/5 — Don't bother *2013-12-27, version 2.1* Terrible app. The actual story is great but the in your face adverts drives my little one to tears! Why isn't there a proper purchase option that disables the ads? Unscrupulous business model - so easy for kids to press the ads. Hope you've enjoyed the money you've earnt this way. Very disappointing. It was great for a month until the sound cut out. On EVERY tabtale interactive book we had. It's been driving me crazy and upsetting my daughter too. You can choose to have your voice recorded to read each page so your kids can recognize mom or dad reading it to them. Each page also has items on each page the move or make sounds when touched to keep kids attention through each page.this app is probably better on a iPad but is still great on my phone. He particularly enjoys all the interactive features. He plays the puzzle game over and over. The vivid illustrations and animation are great. I also like the voiceover, music and various sound effects. This is a zillion times better than the other book apps I've downloaded. My only disappointment is the giant never says "Fe, fi, fo, fum!" I can't imagine why the most famous line was cut from the story.
