The graphics, controls, and world set up weren’t doing it for me at all. ### 3/5 — Mäßig *2021-01-17, version 2.0* An sich ist das Spiel ein toller Retro Plattformer mit cooler Musik. Die Story ist nicht sehr tiefgründig, was jedoch zu erwarten war. Die Plattformer Elemente sind gut umgesetzt und auch die Schwierigkeit ist in Ordnung. JEDOCH ist das Spiel für 6,99€ viel zu schnell durchgespielt. Hab für beide Kapitel insgesamt 1:30h benötigt => Wenn man zu viel Geld übrig hat und einen guten schnellen Plattformer sucht, dann passt das Spiel. Ansonsten Finger weg davon und das Geld lieber anderweitig ausgeben. ### 2/5 — Problème depuis la dernière mise à jour *2020-05-16, version 2.0* La dernière mise à jour a fait disparaître les contrôles de l’écran : ils fonctionnent mais ne sont plus visible ; c’est pourtant essentiel vu la difficulté de la prise en mains. Lorsque on tente d’accéder aux paramètres des contrôles et qu’on sauvegarde, le jeu plante... Dommage ! Je retournerais volontiers continuer l’aventure et lui donner la note qu’il mérite ! ### 2/5 — Diseño amateur *2020-04-07, version 1.15* Control muy limitado, enemigos con movimientos imposibles de evadir, no hay mapa, muy frustrante. Магии нет совсем. Физика простая до грусти. Игрушка совсем небольшая - всего один данж. Прошел за 4-5 часов всю. Игры примерно как 5 уровней в goblin sword или sword of xolan. За 459 рублей ожидал аналог вышеперечисленных игр, а получил это =/ ### 2/5 — Not worth the price *2019-04-19* The game is way too short to justify the $6 asking price. There is only one map, three bad guys, only one item (to breath under water), one extra weapon besides the sword, just a few secret hidden places, and a shop that has a few items. The game play itself was great I had no issues with the controls. But, it is just way too short to justify $6. Games like this should be hard but the difficulty should ramp a lot more slowly on a mobile version as touch controls are no where near as responsive as a controller. I hope you can fix this as I feel like I wasted my money. ### 3/5 — Controls seem to be fixed *2019-03-14* The developers appear to have fixed the control issue (both the control sizes and responsiveness). Now, the only issue is that the game is short. Aside from trying to speedrun or get a deathless playthrough, there’s not much replay-ability. **Developer response:** Hi! It’s like I’m playing in slow motion, then the frame rate corrects for a second then it’s back to slow motion. I’m playing on the new iPad so that’s not the issue. I’ve tried other games and they are working fine. I hope I didn’t just waste my money. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — more story modes!!!! *2022-03-13* The game was a good 7.5. The “start game” button is the same as the “continue” button i think. I pressed on the “start game” button assuming it’s the same as “continue” button and it restarted the 2nd story mode. Kind of like it glitched. Specially since trying to mute the back ground sound and the attacks, it glitches out, takes me to my Home Screen. And the sound is still on. Yikes ### 1/5 — Stingy heath system *2020-08-05* While I am a fan of platform games. This game has found many cons on my list. If it were free the rating would be 3 stars but considering you must purchase to play I feel I should be less lenient. The health system in this game is beyond lack luster and needs a work-up/update. It is stingy to say the least. Each hit takes away half a heart and you gather hearts as you progress through the story. You can refill hearts with potions that drop (RARELY) or purchasing them from the merchant (EXPENSIVE). This becomes incredibly infuriating when you hit a save point next to a boss with 1 hit until death. The game is fun, but falls incredibly short next to other games such as Celeste. Malgré un prix un peu élevé (6,99€), je me suis laissé tenter ! Malheureusement, le jeu n’est pas à la hauteur de mes attentes et surtout, le personnage est quasi incontrôlable dû au fait que les boutons de commande ne répondent qu’une fois sur deux ou trois !!!! Il est donc très compliqué de progresser ou d’accéder à certaines parties du jeu situées en hauteur !! I agree with the other reviews that the controls need work, but I found it playable and I see the devs are already working on it. I LOVE the game overall. The layout and bosses are challenging and the save mechanism took some getting used to but it works well and makes you think a few moves ahead. Love the pixel graphics. The problem is, I beat the first world final boss Korg, and it froze as he was sinking down. I had to close the app, reopen, and beat him again. Second time it froze with Damsel in Distress Nara on the ground and our pal Jack trying to wake her up. I suppose I’ll try again and see if it goes a little further the third time. The problem with that last sentence is that I’ve done it twice and now it’s easy, which gives you an idea of the replayability. Figure out the tricks, that’s it. That said, if the review I read claiming this first world is the ONLY world, I’d say it’s worth $0.99 at most and that’s IF the controls and freezes are fixed. Solid three stars so far. Down to one if I can’t get past the freeze, and down to one if I do and find that’s the end of the game. Here goes nothin’🤞 Yep. Third time through the final boss, I got through the end scene. I could give it a compelling story in ten minutes; they failed to. And the first world final boss is in fact the only world final boss. Es geht soweit, dass man gerne mal nach der besten Strategie sucht um den Gegner zu besiegen und das schaffen nicht viele Spiele!
