### 1/5 — The worst flight app ever created!

I’ve tried for months to try and use Jacks Flight Club. Impossible to join, as they require constant updates. Then when you do join they say “sorry folks, the free version of the app is being retired.” On a desktop version the codes are invisible on Chrome and so cannot be entered! No end of issues and bugs. Absolute nightmare of a site and app! Never known joining (and using) a flight app to be so extremely difficult and full of bugs! Awful! Wish I could give 0 stars rating. Avoid! Avoid!

I love the service but every time you do an upgrade you kick me out of my premium membership. Other apps don’t do this. That’s so annoying.

There is no app. There’s a message that says “sorry you need to pay” but not ever a link to this payment platform . Took my email address which I’m sure you will sell to 3rd party . How to Apple let this stuff in the AppStore . idk

After signing up the app is enabled to take payment and then give you the following message: Sorry folks, the free version of this app is being retired.
To keep getting instant notifications, you’ll need a Takeoff membership — reach out to our support team to ask about current offers. You can still peruse your Flights and Travel Guides online in the Members Lounge.

Yeah no… pay for the app. Pay to have flights shown to you… Skyscanner is free and more user friendly! Absolute waste of my time and a scummy way to do flight! Joke

In response to your response, you get 5 free to look at… unless I pay you… on most other apps I get a lot more for the same price for 2 seconds of scrolling. Yours little pyramid scheme is awful. 

And the fact your app is locked off unless you pay, but have to use a website which I have to type in and find takes ages on the internet… very odd and scummy way to treat your clients!

While Skyscanner is great when you already know exactly where and when you want to travel, our focus is on surfacing Flights you might not think to search for based on price drops, rare pricing opportunities, and routes that aren’t always obvious.

Access to those Flights is part of our paid membership, which supports the team that finds, vets, and shares them. This service is overpriced and you can get better service through Going and or Google Flights. They also ought to update their refund policy from 2 weeks to 60 days.

Frustrating as you can’t login with Google account after signing up with google account on the website. Downloaded and deleted within 2 mins.

I’ve been on the mailing list for a little while and every now and then I receive a notification regarding potentially cheaper flights to the destinations I’ve selected during account creation.

But I’ve always struggled to justify how much value their £50/year actually brings because when I’ve searched the offer it’s basically nonexistent or the same price as what Google flights has already sent me. 

Also, when Jacks has a sale (£1 for 3 months of premium) I decide that this is a good opportunity to test the service out completely and see what “deals” actually get sent out and see if I can actually access them. However, when I log into the app and tap “Pay £1 today to unlock all flights”, it just takes me into a loop and never actually get to payment!

So this is the second time I’ve tried this and the second time I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Won’t be wasting anymore time on them now
