Took me hours to get working the first time. Tried to get it working on my iPad and both apps will not connect. Took another hour to get it working. UNPLUG SAUNA FOR 30 SECONDS AND START SETUP AGAIN. That finally worked. I am a software engineer! Following his instructions worked instantly. The UI leaves a lot to be desired but the app is functional and does what I need. It will not reconnect. I’ve been trying for weeks now. Reached out to customer service with no reply yet. I’ve forced my router to 2.4Ghz and still it just turns saying connecting. Then a cancel button appears and it just churns. Finally the sauna exits setup mode while the app is still churning. Took me some time but it does everything is says it will. Coolest part with my Sanctuary 2 in this app is that it allows me to turn on the sauna for LONGER than 60 min…which is all the interface in the sauna will allow. So yes, setup is a pain, yes, the interface is archaic, but yes it works and provides much better function for the sauna itself. I never write reviews, but wanted to send some encouragement for this app now that I know it works. Finally gave up and called clear light. They sent a walkthrough .. and it finally works like a charm. I can finally turn it on from my phone across the house. 2 things .. first .. upon initial setup/connecting the sauna to the app you must make sure your Wi-Fi is broadcasting in 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz. Second you must put the sauna in setup mode (pressing and holding power button for 7 seconds) prior to hitting the “setup” button on the Wi-Fi setup screen on the app. Works like a charm.
