I would recommend it for any backbone one users Pros: Unique and intriguing reactionary combat system, decent(ish) looking graphics, feels great on controller Cons: oftentimes dry dialogue exchanges, underwhelming story so far, slightly confusing combat system (takes some getting used to, not necessarily bad though), touch controls are not the best, game screen doesn’t fully cover the phone screen (black borderlines on either side. I don’t personally mind this too much however but it could get annoying for touch controls.) In conclusion, I’d recommend this game solely on its engaging and unique combat system. The fighting in this game is definitely the highlight for me. Pick it up if you enjoy an intriguing combat system and have a ios supported game controller ### 2/5 — Needs an update *2024-01-10, version 1.0.2* Okay, this game is still fun but it needs to be updated to run better on modern hardware. The screen doesn’t fit, the date, network, and battery are still displayed during gameplay, it can get very quite sometimes, the thing can drain battery (probably because it hasn’t been optimized), and it’s hard to control at times. All these issues have existed since I’ve had my iPhone XR and we are 3 months into the iPhone 15’s cycle. Please, fix this. It is such an amazing game, that deserves the bigger and better screen fit for it. Edit 03/13/18 - now 01/06/2023 - I still love this game, but please update it for iPhone X screen. It hasn’t had an update in almost a year, please at least fix it for the iPhone X screen. After finishing this game, I can say for certain it is amazing as a port on mobile. I played it on my iPhone 7, and never had any issues with it. The controls were actually the most surprising thing to me, as for a touch game they worked great! Most of the complaints I see for the controls stem from using the classic option. I wasn't a fan of it, and once I switched to expert, it felt amazingly smooth. I wish more games had this kind of flow for the controls, as most of why I couldn't put this game down was because of the controls being so surprisingly good. I dumped so many hours into this game, and I was very sad that this game hasn’t gotten any kind of remastered because it is a gem I haven’t even played the game yet on my phone but I know it’s going to make me happy. First thing I did was grab an Xbox one controller connected to my phone and it worked so I don’t have to deal with the finicky touch screen buttons. For anybody else who’s like me wanting a little bit of nostalgia this is perfect. The folks who brought this game to Phone did a fantastic job. It is outstanding and is worth your money. Das einzige,dass ich mir wünsche wäre die deutsche Sprachausgabe,die ist nämlich richtig gut gelungen ,nachdem was is so auf YouTube gesehen habe.. For anyone having problems with targeting or controls, I recommend doing a lot of practice fights (sparring) and perhaps adjusting sensitivity or difficulty. I made it through the entire game on normal difficulty.
