I’m expecting like tableture apps or something. A simple one and easy to learn like yeah to be honest like on the spot should be able to use and uplift your skill ..and have result right away and no complicated way to export and get what I made ..the idea was to share the riff to other band member ..this one yap.. and free (doesn’t mind also if paid as long as it’s nice like this one)..I’m lazy to keep on downloading and trial again and again and waste time just to find a rubbish apps and repeat the cycle

I opted to buy the full version and its great. (In 2025) especially for a phone app. Once you get the hang of it.. it really covers all the bases. Every time i wish i was able to something i think isnt in the program,
I figure out it is.. I actually learned to read music because of this app lol. Not that it teaches just that i had the insensitive to learn how to read drum parts to help program my own drums.

At home, at a venue, on a bus, especially on a plane. Great to have something handy to jot down most any ideas, with lots of features to dig in and make a solid demo for later recording. Creative workflow, does about as much as you’d possibly want on a handheld device.

I rarely ever leave reviews as I don’t ever feel invested into an app like I do this one. I love that I can write on the go and have so much freedom in doing so! This is the app I use at home when I’m just playing on the couch and play something I don’t want to forget or if I’m away from the guitar I can tab something out that I think could sound good. I only wish that they would add violins, cellos, and pianos. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints!

Well, if you don’t understand the instructions, never fear,, there is a video to help you. You can play the video and watch someone showing off with the software at warp speed, explaining absolutely nothing. It sure looks cool though!

Well rated - up to 2 years ago - but I seem to have stumbled onto something that does not do anything that I am looking for...most importantly, displaying tabs clearly and being intuitive in use.

I appear to have wasted a tenner.

Once again, a program that shows the shortcomings of AppStore, GooglePlay and similar...no refund if not satisfied.

Sorry that you are unsatisfied with Jam Maestro. I believe if you google “App Store refund” you will find avenues to pursue a refund should you wish. Jam Maestro is designed primarily for music composition rather than simple tab playback, if you are looking for something more along those lines then perhaps Guitar Pro might be more what you are looking for. In regards to it being unintuitive though, I think you’ll find with a bit of effort with the tutorial it's actually quite intuitive. Alternatively you could try watching the video "How to make a metal song in 5 minutes" in the videos section which quickly runs through the basic work flow and covers most sections. It should be quite helpful!

Good idea,  but important functions missing. How can I Write triplets or other interesting rythms? I can Import MIDI files with such rythm and it will be played right, but I can‘t see it in the tabs and can‘t edit this. Please work on these Features. Then it would be a nice app, Worte the money.

Sweet butter this app is amazing. Seriously leaves all other apps behind. Items missing: •missing ability to change and edit the distortion effects. You can use a third party app, but having it in house would be supreme. •no Palm mute on bass •custom drums are available, but no other instruments.

Really enjoying Jam Maestro. It’s intuitive, quick to get ideas down, and makes writing riffs and experimenting with different parts genuinely fun. A great tool for sketching out song ideas without getting bogged down in a complicated interface. Definitely recommended for guitarists and anyone who likes building songs from riffs.
