### 1/5 — What a disappointment.

*2026-09-06*

I thought this was gonna be another time that Future Moments knocked it out out of the park with a another grade app. I was sadly disappointed when I tried to record one of my groups today and I’ve had nothing but problems with it working at all. It became completely an operable when I tried to play back the recording, constantly crashing no matter how many times I’ve tried to open it. I’m so sad that I have to cancel my trial that I was actually looking forward to having end and the subscription automatically starting. Oh, and just so you know, I cleared my memory enough and did the latest update. Still nothing different. No change. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

### 1/5 — Good idea but too expensive for what it is.

A yearly sub is £39.99, I can’t import video into it. There’s no EQ. So I can’t dial in a mix. Meanwhile a Tascam digital 8 track studio is £150 and I own it forever. Stop rinsing us.

Also regarding the condescending developer response.

It’s not revolutionary if it doesn’t do what it needs to do. No point in it splitting stuff if you can’t quickly EQ it on your phone.

**Developer response:** Hello! I don’t think you understand what this app is. It’s nothing like a Tascam studio. You can EQ each instrument. Jam Recorder is like nothing you’ve seen before. With it you can record your jam or rehearsal by just tapping record then the app splits your recording into a multitrack using Magic! There’s EQ, effects and mic modeling available for each track so you can mix it and export a nice mix or individual tracks you can then import into your Tascam.

We hope you read about the app and use the free trial. It’s truly futuristic and magical!

### 5/5 — Mind blown

The separation of instruments and vocals was perfect when I recorded a rehearsal. I was able to adjust levels, add some effects and make things sound more balanced. It’s a really helpful tool, and super fun too!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. 😊 We’re so glad you appreciate it! It’s truly amazing we can do this with our phones.

If you ever need help, or have a feature suggestion, don’t hesitate to email us from the side menu of the app (help@micswap.com). We answer every message and are happy to help!

### 5/5 — Welcome to the future

This app is brilliant. You record your band and get to mix it to sound waaaaay better, or just use the original recorded track. It’s amazing we can do this!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. 😊 We appreciate it! We’re so glad you also see how amazing this app is!

Please email us through the side menu of the app (help@micswap.com) if we can ever help. We’d also love to hear from you if you have any feature requests. Thanks again!

### 5/5 — Every band needs this!!

This is blowing my mind! How could anybody record their band without this? Now I can record my band and drastically improve the mix so we can hear everything clearly. This is so amazing. I can’t believe the times we live in! Future Moments has done it again!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your well written review. We totally agree! We're amazed at this technology. I wish we had this when I was a kid!
