## What is Jam Tuner?

Jam Tuner is a tuner you can read from across the room, and it looks like nothing else on your phone.

Play a note and the whole screen answers: a living field of color moves while you are off pitch and goes still the moment you are in tune. The note sits in the middle in big letters, with the cents and the exact frequency underneath.

INSTRUMENTS
Acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, bass, violin, cello, mandolin, banjo, alto sax, trumpet and flute, plus a chromatic tuner for everything else. String instruments show every string as a peg on the headstock. Let Jam Tuner find the string you are playing, or turn Auto off and it walks you through the strings one by one. Sax and trumpet read in their written key.

TUNINGS
Standard and left-handed tuning for every instrument. With Pro: Drop D, Drop C, DADGAD, open G, D and E, half and full step down; low G, baritone and D tuning for ukulele; cross A, sawmill, ADAE, GDAD and double C for violin, mandolin and banjo.

ANY ROOM
Three sensitivity settings, including Unplugged for an electric guitar played without an amp, held up to the phone. A4 = 440 Hz, with a steady lock that ignores flicker.

YOUR LOOK
Over thirty living fields (River, Glass, Ring, Aurora, Grid, Strings, Contours and more), each shaped by the note you play. Pro unlocks every style, your own color palettes and effect settings.

JAM TUNER PRO
All tunings, every visual style, custom palettes and effects. Yearly or weekly subscription; the weekly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

No ads. No account. The microphone is used only to hear your instrument; audio is never recorded.
