## What is Jamboxx?

The Jamboxx software unlocks the full power of the Jamboxx MIDI wind controller instrument. Improvise along with different backing tracks and scene animations (farm animals, guitar player, vehicles, swamp monsters, etc) in the Jam mode. Learn to play in minutes through guided tutorials in the Learn tab, or harness the full power of your performance in the Play tab (Jamboxx Pro only). The Jamboxx app is a great way to learn how to play the Jamboxx and have fun at the same time!

The dynamic on-screen indicator gives instantaneous, visual feedback on note position. You can pick from a wide variety of musical scales and play in any key or octave. Customize your Jamboxx to make it fit your own musical or accessibility needs!

And now you can add new instruments to the Jamboxx application say the Irish Harp, Bongos or Steel Guitar. Any instrument is possible as long as it's in the very popular soundfont format (.SF2 or .SF3).

Choose between dozens of bundled instruments, or configure your Jamboxx to send MIDI out to any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW), such as Ableton Live, Reaper, or Garageband.

Requires the Jamboxx Pro or Jamboxx Music Therapy / Special Needs instrument.

New orchestral instruments, support for enharmonic notation, minor bug fixes & performance improvements.

### 1.1.15 — 2019-04-09

This version includes support for iOS 12

### 1.1.13 — 2018-10-05

This version adds Concert Pitch, which is useful if you play a wind or brass instrument in a band or orchestra. It transposes the note so that the note played is what you would hear from the actual instrument. For example, the Tenor Saxophone is a Bb instrument. When Concert Pitch is enabled and set to Bb instruments, whenever a C is played you will hear a Bb. Our Concert Pitch feature supports C instruments (no transposition) as well as Bb, Eb, F and G instruments.
