You can go directly to their website in Safari, open the Share menu, and select “Add to Homescreen”. Your experience will be near identical while saving space on your phone and adding some features back that Apple disallows from the AppStore (such as direct downloads). ### 3/5 — Jamendo for Creators *2019-02-26* Good app. I’d would be fantastic to have a creator app as well. ### 4/5 — Associate with Independent Artists *2018-11-09, version 3.3.2* A relief from the conglomerate Apple\Google/IHeartRadio with an outstanding library . Jamendo provides that needed touch to hear artists that are nowhere on Corporate run radio. I wish Jamendo were available to anyone who needs true artists reflecting our World, and not the Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks fakeness. Definitely use this app in the car when driving back and forth on long drives. ### 3/5 — 5 Stars For Content but Has Technical Issues *2018-09-26, version 3.3.2* Love Jamendo and I really wish I could use the app but it just doesn’t stream for me. It will stream 1 song then nothing even though I’m trying to play a whole album! And since you can’t download on iOS it renders this app unusable. Is there a fix for this? Please! According to Jamendo’s help center Apple’s iOS prevents the download option that’s why they can’t add that feature on this app for all those wondering. ### 3/5 — Why can’t I download anything it says you can in the pictures but you can’t *2018-06-09* It shows in one of the pictures that you can download but you can not download ### 4/5 — Off the Beaten Path! - Fresh Music! *2018-06-04, version 3.1.0* This is an awesome source for Indie Music! People who rate this app low seem to expect big name and top 40 talent. Reading is Fundamental people! Jamendo tells you that it’s all about indie music. Real music and talent here. You don’t get much cookie cutter music here. Too awesome! ### 1/5 — Very frustrating *2017-04-13* Jamendo would be a great app . . . only if it would work. No matter how often I try to reset my password, the app refuses to recognize or. If I log in through my Google account, I can successfully log in but the app doesn't actually play any music. The player shows it is playing, but nothing exits the speakers of my iPhone. Only frustrating silence. Seems like the app was launched before adequate beta testing. I also can see no option for contacting anyone in order to express my issue. There is no download button like the instructions suggest. Help?? ### 3/5 — Great update but needs more *2016-06-18, version 3.0.1* The recent update was a big improvement but there are still some issues 1. Favorites do not display your whole collection. I have 102 tracks in my favorite playlist but I see less than half. Same issue with favorite artists, favorite albums. This really needs to be fixed 2. Download gone? Why? You can do it online, why was it taken away in mobile app? This also needs to be fixed. 3. We flipping thru latest releases under explore the albums/tracks load only a few at a time. This is okay but I think you need to increase the quantity to load so I'm spending more time listening and less time waiting. Those are my top 3 needed fixes. Seriously they need to be fixed. I really enjoy Jamendo and told all friends about it. The app for iOS is, to be polite, barely useable. This is not their only weakness. Accessing them in a browser is not much better. I love the music selection, however, I cannot log into my active account. I cannot change my password even though it recognizes my account, I don’t think this is an app problem since the browser has the same issue. I cannot get more than one track to play at a time. I get logged out if I try to create a new playlist. The rating is for the app alone. I love having access to so many independent artists. I saw one review complaining about “new” content but it was obvious by their example’s that they meant popular. There is an awe inspiring amount of great music available on the service ### 1/5 — Please Fix Your App! *2021-03-05, version 3.4.2* This app is very slow and very buggy. Also, the link sent to eMail for resetting a password gives a 404 error. ### 1/5 — iOS *2019-05-13, version 3.3.2* Some excellent music. App has issues. Logs me out when I try to make playlists. Considers me logging in from FB as a separate account and wouldn’t let me sign in saying my email was already in use. 🙄 Lots of issues. ### 1/5 — Make it user friendly! *2019-01-16, version 3.3.2* I love Jamendo, but the app is horrible. It is a nightmare to navigate, no search bar or back button. So if you are scrolling thru a play list and click on an artist, you can't go back to the list. You have to quit the app and restart and find your way back to where you were. ### 1/5 — Needs serious work *2018-07-02, version 3.1.0* Fix the bugs. When launching it says a new version is available and I should update by pressing an ok button located below the message. I click and it just does nothing. Play all does not work at all. It plays one maybe two songs if you’re lucky. Play lists are stagnant. Rotate the music a bit.
