### 3/5 — Please make compatible with Bluetooth headphones

*2025-04-23*

Then it would be perfect!

### 4/5 — non riesco a creare le mie tracce

*2025-02-21, version 1.6.1*

bella ma non riesco ad importare i miei file audio, bisognerebbe mettere anche in mp3

### 5/5 — I would trust any product from this developer

*2020-12-15, version 1.0.5*

My original review: The “store” to buy sets is glitchy at best. Have paid for two; neither will download. It constantly reverts to showing that I never bought them, so I use the “restore purchases” command which shows them to be available for download, then they won’t download, then the cycle starts again.

Revised... so I was way too mean above. The developer worked really hard and was persistent about fixing the problem - even when that turned out to be difficult. I give him top marks for professionalism. And the program is excellent .

What I should have mentioned earlier is that the product is a truly inspired tool for working with loops and samples. Its features and options are deep. They may take some time to fully explore and understand, but that time spent is greatly rewarded. Once you’re comfortable with it, JammPro is incredible. Its strength is probably in live performance, and it is incredibly fun to “play” and has the level of sophistication that I think could allow its use as the core instrument for a live electronic performer.

I am using this application in December 2020, with iOS 14 on my new generation ipad air, everything works perfectly well, this app is a very healthy madness.

### 3/5 — Crashing on IPad Air

*2020-10-25, version 1.0.5*

App is supposed to be compatible but could never get it to load a song without crashing.
Looks pretty awesome but I wonder if it’s too much for my older iPad.
Edit: I seem to be able to load a blank session, so we’ll see how far I can go.

### 5/5 — Actually very cool ....

*2020-10-08, version 1.0.5*

Once you get your head around the layout and purpose of different icons, you can clearly see this 'unique software' sits somewhere btw Dj controller/mixer, DAW, sequencer and performance instrument, that offers performance potential for 'at home fun' and more serious musicians. The developers have really given this a lot of thought. I need to dedicate more time to this but like what i see, after understanding it a little better. Thumbs up. 👍. Just needs better marketing to ensure its successful.

### 4/5 — Me like! Needs a better way out...

*2020-10-06, version 1.0.5*

This is a fun remix app with some serious power. However, it needs InterApp audio or AudioBus to get live performances into a DAW without having to record and load manually. The addition of this ability would also allow for playing live synths, etc. into a mix. Seriously, add this feature please! I couldn’t be terribly hard. If it was an AUv3, that would even be better as it would be future proofed. What do you say guys/gals, is this something that is possible?

Also, the app needs more sound packs, especially slower, tip hop/downtempo stuff, well, and some more good glitch.

### 5/5 — Channel multioutput please!

*2020-09-19, version 1.0.5*

Need support to processing in other hosts

### 5/5 — Bloody Hell - I love this App!

*2020-09-14, version 1.0.5*

Deep! oh so deep Read the manual and watch the vids. (This is App is not 50 cc moped - it’s a 12 litre 12 Cylinder Lamborghini)

Analyse any of the packs. (Find one that matches your style) - really analyse it - find the Why and the How. This will pay off.

Play - adjust - play - etc.

Ready to make your own from first principle? It’s all about preparation and file management and this app is really good in helping that but you have to do your homework.

And for those who might think that this App is only for one “Genre” of music - boy are you wrong. It’s flexible and ever so wide and very deep.

Above all else it’s FUN!

### 5/5 — Super apps

*2020-09-13, version 1.0.5*

Bravo👍🏿🎶🔥🔥🔥🌈👍💓 meilleur appli pour Jammer
Super samples +une offre d’achat merci les gens continuez …

### 5/5 — Evolution for electronic performance

*2020-08-21, version 1.0.5*

I’ve been DJing and producing for 30 years and this is the most intuitive performing tool I have ever used! It’s so refreshing to take my loops and perform them on the iPad with a wide myriad of intuitive tools and functions that used to require a computer and pedals and a rack of devices. For a few quid you can get on board, this is more than some sequencing software this is a new musical instrument!! Lotsa love BOBKATUK xx

### 5/5 — Where do you want to go today?

*2020-08-20, version 1.0.5*

Really enjoying using JammPro so far. It took a bit of convincing to start off with because I don’t own any Apple products. However once I got started it was a breeze. It isn’t designed to replace a DAW but perhaps compliment it. You can choose how involved you want to get involved. So far I have downloaded a couple of packs to jam with but I’m looking at doing more music production with it in the future. To be able to utilise an app like this is a big selling feature I think. Not everybody will want to do full blown sampling/editing but if it’s your bag this app has you covered. I’m still learning the more technical functions at the moment but I’m really enjoying jamming live and using all the live effects built in. I have Asperger/ADHD and what has really slowed my work rate down is having a plethora of hardware in front of me and with having an executive dysfunction it can be hard to get going on a project. Narrowing it down to this app I find I don’t have so many distractions and can focus better. It is also quite addictive. Even if you just have 15 minutes to spare and you want to just chill with a jam pack sitting on the bus it’s brilliant. Looking forwards to learning and getting more from this in the future. Highly recommended. Also worth checking out is NinjaJamm (I tried that before getting JammPro - a great introduction if you want to dip your toes).

### 5/5 — Solid Remix & Creation Tool

*2020-08-19, version 1.0.5*

Whether you want to just play with sound or need a powerful composition tool, JammPro is deep with features and capabilities to satisfy. Every last aspect of the software is adjustable making for varied experiences from session to session. Link with other apps and record into JammPro or use the iPad mic as input. There is no limit when you start digging into the software deeper. Not only will you be able to compose, but also perform.

### 5/5 — One of the best music apps out there

*2020-06-18, version 1.0.4*

This is so great! So many levels to this app and the ability to twist, glitch and morph sounds is incredible. I am however experiencing some glitches, when I switch between certain screens there are glitch noises occurring (not part of the music) and I tried loading in a Novation Launchpad set with the instructed method. It worked for the first row and then the 2nd row was all out of sync. Any suggestions?

### 5/5 — great tool for working with sliced breaks

*2020-06-18, version 1.0.4*

very unique and play-able. the design really encourages experimentation and trying lots of permutations. prob the best audio clip app on iOS platform currently.

### 3/5 — No soporta iPad Air

*2020-04-08, version 1.0.4*

En iPad Air 12.4.6 no funciona,se cierra constantemente.Esta aplicación necesita mucha máquina.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Мошенничество!

*2024-02-03, version 1.5.4*

### 1/5 — GOOD LUCK

*2024-01-06, version 1.5.4*

I wasted a couple of hours trying to get this app to download the free packs and the one that I paid for but it just got stuck over and over when the downloads were almost complete. I had the same issue on a gen 5 with 128 gig and an air 2 with 64 gig. Both iPads had plenty of space left. I tried reinstalling but no luck. I looked at the faq advice on the website.. no help at all. I did like a couple of the packs but found the interface very confusing and not intuitive so probably no great loss. Took my money though. Someone wrote that this is what Blocs should have been. Really? That is the most inspiring app that I have ever used and I have been doing this for a long time. Blocs may have less features but nothing compares for getting ideas going and if you jam on the sections buttons it is like nothing else out there. If only you could record those jams via midi. I really had high hopes Jamm pro after reading the other reviews but maybe it needs a more modern iPad. If so it needs to say so on the App Store.

### 1/5 — Keeps crashing

*2021-06-28, version 1.1.1*

I have yet to actually try this device because it won’t open. I’m not sure if it’s the app, the latest update from Apple, or an incompatibility with my IPad Air. I really wish I could utilize this App (especially since I paid for it)

### 1/5 — Sounds bad.

*2020-04-19, version 1.0.4*

I like the idea of it. It sounded great the first day I got it but after updating it just now, it constantly sounds like a crackling loose cable with bad contacts messing up a speaker. I’m using a 10.5” ipad pro with ios 12.2. Please fix this issue. It’s useless like this.

### 1/5 — Unusable. :(

*2020-03-26, version 1.0.3*

Constant static and lagging. Using an iPad mini 2. Also every time I click the help icon it crashes

### 1/5 — Does not work! It crashes all the time! Unable to load packs!

*2020-03-04, version 1.0.2*

And I wonder will this app ever work considering the fact how
often this developer updates its apps and the app complexity.
JammPro is very complex app with huge possibilities.
Ninja Tune is not new name for me. I have Ninja Jamm app and
some music packs that I purchased for it. This app works very well but it needs update. I am afraid Ninja will kill the app. With JammPro I expected more freedom to import my loops and Ninja did it but unfortunately app does not work. I hope Ninja will fix the problem and I will then update my review.

### 1/5 — Too many clicks and crackles for my taste

*2020-02-26, version 1.0.2*

On paper this app appeals to me in every way but once I got up and running i experienced too many clicks and crackles to be functional on an iPad Pro Gen 1 running iOS 13. I’m guessing everybody's got the latest hardware and my iPad is too old now.

### 1/5 — Misleading money grab

*2020-02-21, version 1.0.1*

After you pay $10 they want $1.99 per song, and when you click the preview it’s all of the same clip and not the song you want to preview

### 1/5 — Garage

*2020-02-17, version 1.0.1*

Seemed cool not for me over complicated and not intuitive I requested a refund.

### 1/5 — Poor Performance

*2020-02-14, version 1.0.1*

Nice idea, but a lot a glitches and drop outs on my air pad air.
Currently not usable for me... :(

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It’s incredible

*2025-12-30, version 1.6.1*

I don’t know why - probably because I’m not focussed on beat type production - but I had deleted this years ago without exploring it. This was a huge mistake as it’s quite incredible - at first the UI looks intimidating, but you quickly get to grips with things. Within a few minutes you’re lost in it and somewhere new - it’s a bit like an MPC plus the fx of an OP-Z plus the step triggers of a Digitakt, but also like none of these and completely it’s own thing. it feels quite organic and all I am left with is a wish I hadn’t slept on it for so long. Get it.

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2024-12-09, version 1.6.1*

After writing this review the app refused to launch.
When going to App support on the web a similar thing happens with a never ending progress circle.
Hopefully this is just a temporary problem, but I’ve had to dip and reinstall in hopes of it booting on a clean install - nope.
So I’m just kinda waiting for a response now after upgrading.

This review still stands as long as it’s fixed. 🦙🪽

I had no idea there was an app out there that was as engaging and flexible as any other, if not more so, regarding music production. You’re going to want to IAP the ability to bring your own audio in if you’re serious about music, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn the UI with readymade packs. The only down side I have experienced so far is the volume of file sizes that can accumulate while noodling around. It quickly shot up to my 3rd or 4th largest app, which is kinda crazy, but understandable and I do think the way it handles audio files - organizes and presents them - is pretty clear and had some thought put into it. I’m currently dumping and reinstalling because it no longer seems to want to boot up - it just sits on the full screen icon (which is a cool icon). I’m not losing anything by having to reinstall other than time.
I’m not one for manuals - I like to see what happens when things are tweaked. But there’s enough going on here that it’s not like a simple MPC approach and the manual is pretty straight forward if you get stumped.
By far the most fun I’ve had in awhile with iPad audio production. Great job and thank you to the Dev.

### 5/5 — Cool app

*2023-11-06, version 1.5.4*

I’m really enjoying this app

### 5/5 — Шикарная прога! Auv3!!!?!?!

*2023-07-03, version 1.5.3*

Но так ее толком пока не попробовал — iPad mini 2 не тянет ее , трещит сопротивляется !\

### 5/5 — The interface that was always absent with playing & making “electronic” music

*2023-04-24, version 1.5.1*

Immersing fun to play with & a powerful emulator/controller that gives an extensive way to manipulate & play rhythmical patterns of sounds, instruments, or stems & elements you’ve made in a way that daws & turntables/djay software struggle with as being designed to be controlled by mouse or midi controllers is limiting to where you can set up kit like that etc, either as music editor or as a live performance device it seems already set up to make & perform music on the move & has the advantage of live performance style modulation of elements in real time as a standalone instrument as they unfortunately never made a tb303 etc that was portable & could be held as an instrument, probably genuinely only limited by your imagination, creativity & lifes time constraints, looking forward to seeing what I can do with it

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-04-05, version 1.5.1*

Jamm pro can be used for live performance or (I think) well useful to chop samples and edit for productions. I think recording in to. DAW works but could Also be a great 4 track sequencer. Designed by a genius!

### 5/5 — Add AUv3 please

*2023-04-04, version 1.5.1*

otherwise demented and perfect audio mangling looper

### 5/5 — So good.

*2021-11-28, version 1.1.1*

TL;DR;

This is the best remix app (for me) on the App Store. It’s comprehensive, deep and detailed but equally well-designed in terms of UI and UX. Buy it.

It’s clear that Coldcut have built this for themselves and have applied their style and ethics (it’s inexpensive, generous and different to everything else I have seen - and I probably own 80% of the entire Music section of the App Store).

There are loads of video tutorials available - mostly featuring Matt and other fans/contributors from the world of electronic music.

My only suggestions for further improvement would be:

I) tutorials on creating user packs from scratch (it’s actually made simple using standard file/clip types and XML for settings, if you want to write them yourself but you can obviously use the app as well for the performance aspect);

II) the visual design of the app is unique and very Coldcut but I’d love the ability to choose a different look and feel… or even to design one.

If there was a hardware version of this app (is Traktor 3 + Kontrol S4 Mk3 + F1 (or an S8) the nearest thing?) it would be an insta-buy!

Well done guys - keeeeeeeep mixing…

S

### 5/5 — Lots going on..lots to learn

*2021-04-10, version 1.1.1*

Freaking Amazing! Deep & complicated actually, gonna take a minute for sure! Looking forward to this app for years as I remember him telling me about plans for this app! Well done. Look forward to some tutorials and performance vids. Hope to see some in depth tutorials for using own loops. Will this have iPhone version?

### 5/5 — Wow so many options so much fun

*2021-04-09, version 1.1.1*

Stumbled across this on sale. Never heard of it before then watched a few videos. For the first few minutes I was a bit overwhelmed but after watching a few YouTube tutorials I settled in and had a blast. Unlimited possibilities here from jamming to composing songs to composing soundtracks to ones videos. There has never been an app with so many performance options available. Incredible. It needs more publicity specially from the bigger iOS channels.
