## What is JammyMusic?

Experience your Jellyfin music library in a compact and simple way. The way music players should be. It's tailored to the users that just want to listen to their music without the clutter, the subscriptions, or the bloated features that make no sense for a media player. Included is the ability to connect to your jellyfin server, the ability to play offline music, and the ability to use your watch as a media player while away from your phone. You can also choose the quality of downloads on your watch to decide if download speed and storage space or quality matter more on your watch. Currently on the iPhone app, the best quality available will always be whats played. 

This project is not affiliated with Jellyfin and all rights for the trademark are reserved to Jellyfin. This app is intended to further support the open source community and no subscriptions or ads will be implemented at any time.

JammyMusic is starting to hit a new level of maturity with this update:

Lyrics! Synced lyrics highlight and scroll with playback, tap a line to jump there, and they're saved with your downloads for offline. If your server has .lrc files or the LrcLib plugin, it just works.

Favorites and real listening history. Heart songs anywhere and they sync with your server. The app now reports playback to Jellyfin too — so your dashboard finally sees JammyMusic, play counts count, and the new Recently/Most Played rows are built from what you actually listen to.

Playback: gapless transitions, a sleep timer, queue reordering, and optional volume leveling while maintaining audio fidelity 

Multiple server addresses. Store your LAN IP and public URL; the app uses whichever answers and fails over automatically when you leave home Wi-Fi. There's even a Check Now button so you can see what each address is doing.

CarPlay and Watch got some additional love: artwork everywhere, A–Z browsing, instant offline search, and Favorites/Recently Played are real now. Watch library sync works for actual library sizes (it silently broke past ~300 items before), album art shows up, and there's a watch-face complication.

Plus: instant launches from cache, the "feat. artist splits my album in two" bug is dead, and a pile of battery, memory, and security fixes throughout.

Some significant improvements to the performance of the watch app, iPhone app, and CarPlay feature. Including addressing bugs in downloads, watch playback and downloading, and CarPlay UI. You should notice faster loading, fast scrubbing, and the next tracks should play faster. I hope to hear of others enjoying, happy streaming.

Fixed: Apple Watch has been addressed! The Downloads should work with two different modes depending on whether or not your watch can directly reach jellyfin and it should work automatically. The support site has been fixed and updated for user support.

This version has bug fixes in CarPlay, watch, and iPhone and there should be improvements loading libraries, more consistent loading for album art, fixed the embarrassing mismatch in naming, some security bug patches, and make some ui/ux fixes.
