Instant Aphex twin.

### 5/5 — Shut up and take my money

*2024-05-17*

Hands down awesome and free and I'll buy whatever the next thing you release is

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2024-03-24*

It was cool to begin with and the dev has since done several updates that make it even more fun. Should be a paid app! It’s worth it.

### 5/5 — Sounds nice, is free, lots of creative potential!

*2024-03-13*

Grab this and have fun!

**Developer response:** Hi MusixMonkey, the DAW sync is now fully operational (v1.4). Thanks for your review.

### 5/5 — Simply superb

*2024-03-12, version 1.4*

Great app with superb Developer back up, easy to use and excellent for adding a bit of rhythmic glitchy percussive movement to you production. Thank you for making this little gem free 🥰👍

### 5/5 — Perfect glitch food

*2024-03-11, version 1.3*

I love apps like this, which there are not that many of. Inside AUM with fx I can turn this interesting bleepbox into a monster!!!!!

### 5/5 — Great app, great developer!

*2024-03-06*

Loving this cool free app, and also loving the new dark mode.
Great apps this developer makes. Grab them all and support the good man 👍👍

### 5/5 — Seems to work fine now

*2024-03-06*

Crashed every single time at first but now today I open up the app, and it works great! Maybe a fix was applied, or some mysterious force in the universe corrected itself! 😉

Thank you for your response!

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for your review. I've heard about the crashes but can't reproduce it myself. However, it seems that restarting the device cause the AUv3 to be installed correctly. So maybe that's how it also was fixed in your case. Anyway, have fun!

### 5/5 — Kool

*2024-03-05*

Fun little app… the more I fiddle around with it the more I like it 🤷‍♂️

### 5/5 — Great … but

*2024-03-03, version 1.0*

Five stars for this app on my iPad. Loads of fun. Instant enjoyment. Easy to use.

But … crashes on my iPhone and does not even show as an available AU when tested in a host. I would love to have this on my phone too!

### 5/5 — So fun, you can just leave it on and listen for hours

*2024-03-02*

It's free, it's fun, it's cool, and you can map knobs or faders to it.

Thanks for the port!

I'm just wondering how much trouble it would be to have separate channels to isolate the sounds of the kit for different fx...

**Developer response:** Hi,
Thanks for the review. That's an interesting idea. It would probably involve quite some work, as I've never done something like that, but definitely interesting as a test case. I will keep it in mind and if I have time I will look into it.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2024-03-02*

Nice auv3!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — sound stops after a bit

*2025-08-14*

screen turns gray while tweaking the knobs and the sound stops entirely

### 1/5 — Broken waste of inspiration

*2025-06-02*

I’m so tired of all these apps that are broken. I spent an hour tweaking getting it perfect and I was in love, truly happy and excited to share my creation and it just doesn’t record. No matter what u do (in garagband at least) it won’t actually record. The red recording bar starts going bit when u r finished there is never and recorded audio. Is this like a restriction so I’ll buy a full version? I’m using an iPhone 15 btw with most recent updates so no It’s my phone

### 3/5 — Almost there🤩

*2024-03-05, version 1.1*

More of a request could you possibly allow for automation of parameters as currently they are available but do not respond to modulation
🤓👌

### 4/5 — Great simple little app easily manipulated

*2024-03-17, version 1.4*

At first this basic little app seemed pointless to have. However with a bit of imagination, a midi note generator and some lush effects it’s anything but pointless!
I just recorded a track using “Ruismaker FM” to send the midi and then numerous effects such as “Dubstation” , “SpaceFields” and “True Pan” combined with other synths and drum machines this Bleep app adds some nice detail to the mix and I’m loving it 😊
Some more variation of sounds in an update would be most agreeable and worth paying for.

### 4/5 — Interesting little rhythm app

*2024-03-08*

Works well for an app that’s free.Could use some more present though.

### 5/5 — Really Simple...

*2026-06-16, version 1.5*

Instant Aphex Twin.

### 5/5 — Luv It

*2026-01-11*

A great free app that functions like a basic tabletop synth/sequencer pedal. Good for basic inspiration. I would pay $10 happily for a version with more parameters or perhaps a percussion channel and a bass channel?

### 5/5 — Superb sound maker

*2025-09-23*

Simple, but endlessly inspiring

### 5/5 — Wonderful Little Generative Sound Creator

*2025-07-28*

Love this little device. Using it with Drambo and several fx. Makes so many abstract little rhythms that I can then resample and cut up. Thank you so much for putting this together and giving it away for free. It’s really appreciated.

### 5/5 — love it

*2025-06-11*

i had no issues on my end, i love the simple ui, made some really cool stuff

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Loveth

*2025-03-08*

I have loved this since I saw the original puredata iteration. To have it as AUv3 is spectacular.

### 5/5 — SO MUCH FUN - and it’s legal!

*2024-11-24*

This is literally the most random app you will ever have in your library! It has adjustments for pitch, tempo (30-250 bpm), samplerate, randomness, and whatnot.

This is my go-to app when I just need a good smile to sometimes an outright laugh. It is great for musicians and non-musicians alike, as there is no real point to this app except for entertainmenty num — just open the app and let it do its magic!

It also lets you select the number of steps to mutate, so your can get from 1-32 steps of anarchy. I have tried any number of steps for a variety of moods. One I recommend is after listening to 16 or 32 steps, going to just one step at about tempo 75, as the hilarity of it will eventually manifest itself.

On a more serious front, I plan on using this in the recording studio for a couple of things, as this old goat is finally starting to get into some electronic music. Just know this: it is doubtful that you will ever get the same sequence twice — ever — so make a recording of it, just in case there’s something you might want to keep!

One note to the author of this app: Could you kindly put in an adjustable “random tempo deviation” knob, so that one could allow it to speed up/slow down the tempo? For example, +/-10bpm to, say, +/-250bpm? I think that would be even more hilarious! (This would be in addition to the fixed adjustable tempo knob.)

MAJOR kudos to the developer for this bright spot — and app!

### 5/5 — SOOO GOOD!!!!

*2024-10-01*

This is such a dope app, generative, bassey, bouncey, melodic, polyrhythmic, inspiring, exceptional quality software, petite footprint, and. FFFF. RRRR eeeeee. EEEEEE

Great as an evolving sound source for whatever midi, fx processor, glitch app you fancy.

I feed it into GlitchStep, GlitchCore, Riffer, and let it play in the background, great for inspiration. I seriously can’t say enough about how valuable this device is.

Maybe you can?

### 5/5 — Gatekept. More crucial than any standalone synth

*2024-08-02*

Seriously.

I drop this in aum, midi out it to K-devices’ TATAT (micrlooper) that gets the poly-session going, now I can use my dozens of FX and Sculpting tips on the beep chain (k-devices; Secta, Magma, Shaper 2) all do wonders.

honestly, AudioModern should buy that app and include it as a built in sound module or something. This developer rocks, and his app is highly appreciated by the EDM/ IOS production folks

### 5/5 — dontw8

*2024-07-05*

by far the best free (audio) thing for a long time… midi out please ;)
