## What is jAmp IR?

jAmp IR is a zero latency impulse response loader tool in AUv3 plugin format. It is designed to be a cabinet simulator for guitar and bass amps. Two impulse responses can be mixed. Furthermore there is fine level control in the form of high and low pass filters, gain control, and phase inversion. The app comes with 5 high quality impulse responses.

I’ve got this and the Nembrini IR loader. Running a York Audio IR in both and this sounds easily comparable. The ability to mix 2 different IRs isn’t something I thought I’d want or use, but it’s nice to mix in a little Marshal 4x12 cab to augment a 1x12 or 2x12 IR. 

The included IRs are … fine. Like most IRs are fine. No knock on them, but the tones we all go for as guitarists vary wildly, and I’m now a believer in York’s IRs. This app made is super easy. I’m pretty stoked on this little app. Thanks, developer, for your time and effort!
