It has some flaws though, and the most important one right now, is the app not separating the CDs from an album. It puts track 1 of CD1 next to track 1 of CD2, which is not convenient at all... That was the most problematic thing. Now, some UI improvement request would be regarding the organization of albums. Someone mentioned “organize by Artists”, and I second that. I want to see something more. A management menu where you can quickly move multiple albums ou crates of albums at a time. Adding in that menu an option to sort every added albums/songs. All that would be perfect for adding libraries with a high count of artists/albums/songs (more than 10000 in my case). I also had a strange behavior, where at the end of an album, it plays something even when the iPod is in sleep (fine, it’s an option I have set in the app), but when turning the screen back on, the music is instantly stop, and there is not even a way to have it play again, as the on screenlock controllers disappear, and the app not remembering what was playing once iPod is unlocked. It’ll be really great if it ever gets fixed. ### 4/5 — Playlists? *2022-04-30* I have always used playlists on iTunes and on my ancient iPod clickwheel. With newer cars I copied music to a USB stick where I created playlists for road-trips, plugged in the stick to a USB port, selected a playlist and off I go. I’ve since opted to use a recycled iPhone instead of a USB stick so I tried this app as I’m not a fan of the iTunes/Apple Music app. Your ap is fantastic if playing individual albums, but I haven’t discovered how to create playlists. ### 4/5 — Application prometteuse *2022-03-07, version 1.0.2* Serait-il possible d’épingler les albums préférés ? Thank you. otherwise I may have to get an iPhone 6 plus/6S plus ### 5/5 — Refreshing take on a music player app *2025-08-14, version 1.0.2* This is an absolute gem of an app. Listening to music made enjoyable again, and with a beautiful design. You choose an album you press play and that’s it. No shuffle, no playlists, no distractions. Another huge positive is that you can arrange your music library yourself! You decide where which album goes, which makes finding stuff a breeze. One very minor complaint I have: Swiping out of an album requires a very large swiping gesture, so it sometimes takes a few attempts. Also, what to be aware of: It can only play music that you own. If you only stream music, you cannot play music on this app. ### 5/5 — Nearly Perfect *2022-07-23, version 1.0.2* Simple but beautiful! Thanks!! Really really well thought out and beautiful interface. You still have to properly sort out your underlying library and the mess Apple Music makes of it ( eg if I rip the CD Raising Sand by Alison Krauss and Robert Plant into Apple Music it identifies the Artist as Alison Krauss & Robert Plant for all but track 5 where the artist is the trivially different Alison Krauss/Robert Plant resulting in a second album being created with just that track. That’s not my metadaa - ahgg - but that’s Apple not this app. You have to correct that sort of glitch manually ( and there are a lot of them in a big collection!) once you have sorted all that use this app to platt them.Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Solved *2021-07-31, version 1.0.1* Thank you a lot. Only thing I would add is potentially a nicer layout (design) and a simple feature allowing you to organize the shelves based on artist name!!!! Furthermore, it’d be cool if you could organize each shelf differently, but that’s not really a big thing. Change this and ask €4,99. ### 5/5 — Un lecteur idéal pour la musique classique *2018-01-18, version 1.0* Points forts: - pouvoir organiser ses albums par groupes comme bon nous semble, (pas forcément selon les critères classiques, artiste, album, etc) - affichage des titres sur deux lignes lorsque c’est nécessaire pour éviter d’avoir un titre inutile car tronqué (particulièrement utile pour la musique classique) - interface très fluide et très belle. - qualité de son bien supérieure à celle de l’application native « Musique » (également supérieure à l’appli VOX, pourtant déjà très bonne) Enfin une interface à la fois esthétique et pertinente ! L’affichage des pochettes rappelle le « cover flow » qui existait dans iTunes il y a quelques années. Cet affichage était beau, il faisait son petit effet « waho » pendant la 1ère minute d’utilisation, puis on ne l’utilisait plus, car il était beaucoup moins pratique que l’affichage classique « en grille » de pochettes. Apple a fini par le retirer de iTunes, sans doute conscient de son inefficacité. Mais ici, l’utilisation l’utilisation de la 3D pour l’affichage des pochettes est tout à fait utile et efficace: cet effet et non seulement joli mais il ajoute une deuxième dimension au parcours des pochettes: Après avoir empilé les albums selon nos désirs, le défilement horizontal permet de passer d’une pile à l’autre (1ère dimension), le défilement vertical permet de parcourir les piles (2ème dimension). Merci au développeur pour cette formidable idée ! En outre, la réalisation est particulièrement soignée jusque dans les moindres détails. De nombreuses petites animations subtiles donnent vie à l’interface sans jamais lasser ou alourdir les manipulations. Il s’agit lia d’un exemple à suivre ! Cela mérite largement le petit pourboire que le développeur suggère de lui verser (sans l’imposer).
