## What is Jamulator?

Using player-piano-like grids, finger paint drums, then choose from over 100 other instruments to create musical arrangements in just minutes. You can zoom in to arrange your notes with precision, or just swipe and see what sounds come out. Quantization makes most of your casual swipes sound interesting and musical.

Once you have something you like, you can forward it to friends so they can add parts to the jam session. When you think it's finished, you can publish it for all app users to listen to.

There is also a sampler that lets you record audio, and then play notes of different pitch using the same player-piano-like grid. You can make your voice sound like a chipmunk, or like Darth Vader.

A very high quality musical instrument using general MIDI 2 standard voices.

New in 2.1.0: Live realtime jamming. There is still a little lag, but because of the metronome it feels like you are actually jamming. You are certainly interacting musically in close to realtime.

### 5/5 — Amazing app considering is midi!

*2019-08-17*

Well done Eric! I saw the app and I saw the code, loved it! Of course the UI could be better, but honestly amazing!

### 4/5 — Where is the squencer?

*2019-06-26, version 1.0.3*

I like this app a lot, but i don’t get to see the sequencer buttons on the button of my iPad screen. I am running iOS12.3.1, not sure if that has anything to do with it. The bottom section of the screen is empty unlike the preview screen i see on the App store which shows the three buttons at the bottom.

### 4/5 — Jamulator

*2017-09-26, version 1.0.1*

Fun to screw around with. Good sounds and no delay.+ a great name

### 5/5 — Fun!

*2017-09-26, version 1.0.1*

Fun app, love how easy it is to use. Such clean and smooth sound!
