Only an idiot would accept T&C’s without retaining a copy first. ### 1/5 — The App is Horrendous *2024-01-06, version 26.0.17* The app has such an aggressive log-in screen where I almost have to reset my password everytime I open the app. Better off just accessing it on a desktop, which is a bummer. ### 1/5 — Can’t Log In anymore. *2022-01-13, version 26.0.6* I used to use this app regularly. Now, for whatever reason, it won’t let me log in anymore. WORTHLESS!!! ### 1/5 — Lacking. *2021-11-20, version 26.0.1* For a top-rated financial institution, this app is severely lacking in almost every aspect. Minimal presentation of balance, performance, daily change, etc to the user. Presentation of data in a visual format is nonexistent. So frustrating. Could you PLEASE add some simple graphs that show 1 month, 1 year, YTD, 3, 5 year trends? It can’t be that hard :) this is such an awesome company otherwise. Please??? Thanks in advance. ### 2/5 — So basic but not very helpful *2025-04-10, version 26.0.29* Needs more features. Can’t check history. You can check the current balance. You can’t see any performance history or any graphs. It’s so basic. Why would they not add that to the app. It’s pretty worthless if I have to go to the main website for any additional information. ### 2/5 — Ap is useless *2025-03-13, version 26.0.29* It keeps asking me to sign in when I have facial recognition activated. Also there is no place to see performance for 1 week, 3 months, 1 year, also 5 years. The AP is outdated; I recommend the Janus management to look and learn from what other competitors like Robinhood is offering to their clients, then make improvements. ### 2/5 — Current balance? *2023-01-04, version 26.0.8* App shows 4 days old balances as current. I want to see my current balances not 4 day old ones. ### 2/5 — Limited Utility *2021-10-14, version 26.0.1* Overall a simple and straightforward app for checking account balances but could use additional features to be more useful and provide more performance details. Currently, the app only shows current balance, daily change, and NAV. Rates of return ( monthly, quarterly, etc) and time series charts of account balances (daily or quarter-ending balances) would be two features to better inform the user of account performance. ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Pretty good *2022-10-04, version 26.0.7* Simple app that works ### 5/5 — Solid app for retail investors *2021-07-16, version 1.0.2* Janus Henderson has done a great job designing a user friendly app that allows retail investors access to their investments. All the information is easily accessible. I am frequently looking for my statements/tax forms and this app makes things easy to find. ### 4/5 — Overall good if you’re a customer with them *2021-08-18, version 1.0.6* Overall good app. Easy to navigate. Withheld one star due to what I guess is a policy of requiring you to verify with a sms security code every login. Login from mobile does not require this/can be disabled and is just as face with auto filled passwords verified by the same Face ID the app uses. Would much prefer if app only required verification with code for transactions as my most frequent in app action is just checking NAV/balance. ### 3/5 — Missing basic functionality *2025-02-10, version 26.0.28* I consolidated accounts into Janus. I miss a lot of features I had in other accounts. Things like retirement calculators and even just a simple chart showing historical performance.
