There are so many repetitive steps can be saved, especially when user have already logged in. And make sure you have a proper saving feature during booking. So the user don’t loose all progresses when accidentally click go back . ### 1/5 — わかりにくい、あるいは商売上手 *2026-06-09* どうかなと思う点がいくつかあったので。 日程変更をした際に、往路も復路も1日前倒ししなければいけないことになり、便の変更をアプリで実施。 変更時は往路、復路それぞれ変更チェックボックスがあり、両方にチェックを入れ、変更画面へ。ところが、私の勘違いから、往路の便を元の予約と全く変更せずに作業を終えてしまった。 1人2万円、2人なので4万を変更対応費として発生。が、もう一度変更しなければならなくなった。問い合わせたら誤操作での予約変更はそちらの問題、取り消しはできないとのこと。その通りではある。が、手数料のお金が発生するところで、わざわざ往路復路別々にチェックを入れさせて変更させているのに、変更していないことのアラートも出ず、かつ確認画面で変更後の日時や便の詳細はアコーディオンで閉じられていて見せないようになっており、気づかせにくい、わかりにくい設計だった。もしくは、商売上手。 よく考えたら国際便なのか国内便なのかが結構間違えてみていたり、ログイン時や予約表示時にエラーも頻発していた。急いでいる時に使ったからというのもあるが、全体的にストレスフルな印象だったので残念。 ### 1/5 — Buggy *2026-06-08, version 6.1.0* App is problematic. It does not work with hyphenated name. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Least friendly airlines *2026-08-22, version 6.3.0* It appears that you cannot become a member of this airline unless you are Japanese. But American Airlines partners with them. So to check in you have to sign in on JAL as a guest and find your reservation (with a different confirmation no than AA uses) and then you can get a boarding pass. Bit of a pain in the neck. Taiwan and Singapores airlines do not make you jump through all these hoops. ### 1/5 — Nothing works right *2026-08-10* I get an email about a 3 minute schedule change and I have to go and confirm it. The link to website just takes you to a page that says error. You try to call and it’s an hour wait. I tried getting the app and joining the mileage club. It gives me my itinerary and tells me there’s a change and to confirm it but oh no the page you end up on does the same thing. So 3 hours were spent on something that should have taken 1 minute and it’s still not resolved. You have to go to a special site to try. Every time I enter in my birthday it tells me to add a zero in front of the month. Apparently you can’t have single numbers. Even though I did add the zero. They don’t show my OneWorld status and will not allow me to change seats. Out of all the airlines I fly, this one has the worst app to try and navigate. I have been using the old JAL app before and never have any problem. please check and fix. ### 1/5 — マジでクソ *2026-07-03* 平均星4.5って本当かよ。 jalは、本気で改善した方が良い。 いい意味で捉えると、伸び代しかない。 重要な拡販チャンスだと思うよ。 ①アカウント作成が面倒 アカウント作成しようとすると、JALマイレージバンクの会員登録を求められる。 これがややこしい！ 「カードを作れ」と言わんばかりに、カードの広告ばかり出てくる。 ん？アカウント作成にはカード作成が必須なのか？じゃあ辞めとこう。と誤解しやすい。 ※本当はそんなことない。 もっとわかりやすく、誤解しないようにしなさい。 ②決済が面倒 ビザデビット決済を選ぶと、ワンタイムパスワードがメール送付された。 で、メールを開いてワンタイムパスワードを確認し、JALアプリに戻ったら・・・ なんとワンタイムパスワード入力画面が消えてしまった！ 当然の操作なんだから、消えないようにしろよ！ ③QRコード発行が面倒 会員登録せずゲストとして使ってると、搭乗のQRコード表示が非常に面倒。 日付とか発着空港とか予約番号とか、色々入力して、やっと自分の予約に辿り着いて、 で、QR表示しようとすると、また航空券番号の入力を求められる。 さっき入力したし、画面にも出てたやろがぁぁああ！！！ なんでもう一回入力せんといかんのんや、勝手に裏で連携しろや！ 総じて、本当に論外だと思う。 ### 1/5 — Very poor experience *2026-06-14, version 6.1.0* App too old fashioned.
