Phrase Cards are here: 44 Japanese phrases you can hold up to a shop, a bath house or a station clerk, in large type with your own language underneath. Tap to have one read aloud. Everything works offline.

The first five cards are free. Unlocking the rest is a single payment — there is no subscription.

All 62 etiquette entries, the quiz and the packing checklists stay free, as always.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-09

This version brings no changes to the app itself. The App Store listing is now available in nine languages, so more travellers can find it in their own language. The app remains in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-02

Share a quiz result. The result card now carries a link back, so whoever you send it to can try the same questions instead of just seeing your score.

The app now declares all four of the languages it was already written in. Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Korean are picked up from your device automatically, rather than everyone landing in English.

Also in this version: icons that stay sharp on every device, corrected tab labels, and a quiz result screen that no longer clips on smaller phones.
