It’s somewhere you can completely lose yourself, with every neighbourhood feeling unique and unlike anywhere else. What I found most useful about this app were the suggested itineraries. Even though I only stayed in Tokyo on this trip, they gave me loads of ideas for how I’d plan a longer journey across Japan next time. I also loved the breakdown of Tokyo’s different districts and what each area is best known for. It helped shape how I spent my time especially when I had focused days. The map was another feature I kept coming back to, especially for vintage shopping, as well as discovering hotels with incredible views. Being able to explore places based on what I was interested in made planning much more enjoyable. It also made it quite spur of the moment too which made things feel spontaneous. I’ll definitely be using this app again for future trips.
