### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-06-13*

The practice is amazing.
Overtime you’ll be able to see your stats on which verbs your getting we’ll be which verbs you tend to make mistakes on.
My only wish is to use these stats to help encourage the quiz content. So it focuses on my struggle areas

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2025-02-02*

Very confusing. Tough to figure out how to do anything on this app

### 5/5 — Cheap and Good

*2024-11-05*

There's not much to this app other than a few explanations on each conjugation and the ability to create some tests to complete. The tests are great for me as I learn from repetition. I only paid £1 which was well worth it. The main thing I like is you can create your own tests which suit your needs. Well worth a quid!

### 5/5 — Can you add this feature?

*2024-08-14*

This application is very useful, as it is helping me in making significant advancements towards fluency.

Nonetheless, I would have liked a feature that allows us to select a specific verb or adjective and then receive related questions on it.

Could you incorporate such feature?

Many thanks!

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-03-03*

Does not even have simple conjugation for the word “ borrow “

### 5/5 — Great learning tool

*2023-03-30*

This app is a great way to drill verb and adjective conjugation, allowing you to focus on specific areas that are giving your trouble. The immediate and context specific explanation that pops up for any mistake is a great help. With the Japanese keyboard on, you can dictate responses which is a great way to work in pronunciation! Can’t recommend highly enough!!

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the kind words, and I'm glad you like the app! Don't be too afraid of adjectives. There are a lot less rules for them than there are for verbs so its not nearly as confusing haha.

### 5/5 — Perfect for drills

*2023-03-20*

I’ve been looking for a way to drill verbs and adjectives based on proficiency level and this is perfect.
Once I set up my preferred test settings I found I could just work through whilst doing other menial tasks, such as waiting for the bus 😊
There are so many options to select or not select, which is fantastic as I am still a beginner to the language.
One thing I would love is a proficiency rating against each verb/adjective so I can then focus on my weak areas. If this exists please let me know.
But for the minimal cost and fantastic output I would say this is amazing value and worth adding to your daily language tasks.

### 4/5 — Great concept. Room for refinements.

*2023-01-20*

Tried out this app for this first time today and there is a lot that I really like about it.

Verb conjugation has always been the hardest thing for me to study in my quest for mastering Japanese because it’s not the kind of thing that you can just learn the rules and then easily apply. There are just too many verb types and verb forms that then connect to too many different verb endings/modifiers to keep things straight. It really requires a lot of drilling to internalize everything.

This app has great flexibility to create a ton of different tests to drill any specific conjugation you want to work on, while also allowing you to adjust other variables like: vocabulary level or lists used, # of questions, multiple choice or direct input, and characters shown (Japanese, hiragana, romaji, English meaning).

These functions are absolutely great, even if it means the user needs to take some time creating and refining test parameters.

The elements of the app that could use some refining are mainly to do with aesthetics. The font size is really hard for me to read, so I wish that was adjustable. Also, the multiple choice functionality is kind of useless because it seems to select conjugation forms from the list of actual correct conjugations for each verb. It would be far more useful to have incorrect conjugations that are close to the correct form rather than other correct forms of the verb that are clearly other meanings than the desired answer. However, this would obviously require a lot of additional programming and work, so I understand why it was done the way it was. But again, this means the multiple choice option for tests isn’t going to really be helpful.

In the end, this is a great app and I would be happy to pay far more than the asking price, especially if I could make the font bigger so I don’t have to squint so much.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the valuable feedback and I'm glad you like the app! The font size scales with your device's font size. If you go to Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Text Size then you can increase the font size. In regards to the multiple choice part though, that is an interesting suggestion. You're correct in that it chooses 4 correct conjugations which makes it very easy to pick out the actual correct answer since they tend to look so different. I didn't think about adding slightly incorrect versions of the correct conjugation as choices though. I'm not 100% sure how i would go about doing that without it looking like gibberish, but that would definitely be a good addition to the app.

I hope that helps you with the font size issue and thanks again for the feedback! I'll try and make the multiple choice tests more useful in the future

### 4/5 — Does what it says

*2022-10-01*

Overall does exactly what I was looking for: an app to drill verb conjugation easily in short bursts (waiting in line, appointments and so on).

Only missing 1 star at the thing I'd really like is an option to hide romaji. My eyes tend to latch onto them first, which hinders any reading comprehension improvement.

A similar toggle for kana would also be useful for similar reasons.

Other than that, no complaints!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! I couldn't agree more with your complaint because my eyes do the same thing. However, there is an option to toggle off romaji and the hiragana. While taking a test there is a display icon in the top right. If you click on that you can change it to hide romaji or kana.

Hope that helps!

### 5/5 — Great learning tool

*2021-12-14, version 1.9*

This app is a great way to drill verb and adjective conjugation, allowing you to focus on specific areas that are giving your trouble. The immediate and context specific explanation that pops up for any mistake is a great help. My only quibble is that the interface for setting up quizzes offers an option for choosing fill in the blank or multiple choice, it I have never been able to select multiple choice - it just doesn’t seem to really be an option. One other suggestion, it would be great to be able to modify an existing quiz rather than needing to set up a new one if you want make a tweak like adding another JLPT group or changing the number of questions. Overall, though, a great tool!
