### 1/5 — Worst experience

*2021-02-08, version 2.5.0*

Jaxx wallet has been the worst experience I have ever had with any wallet ever. First of all I did a simple exchange from one coin to USDT and it is over a day that it isn’t completed. Secondly it will not allow me to trade to a specific coin I would like to get that is on their list of supported coins! . I lost a ton of money already and cannot wait to get rid of this wallet.

### 1/5 — Do not recommend for Dogecoin

*2021-02-08, version 2.5.0*

You cannot buy dogecoin directly. You have to purchase another kind at 50$ minimum USD with a 10$ minimum fee. Then, you have to have a minimum amount of the kind you purchase to trade to dogecoin. And there are fees for the trade to dogecoin. It's a loss. I put my money in, but I uninstalled the app. I'll just wait until there's a better way to get dogecoin on the iPhone, or wait until they fix Dogecoin multi's java problem so I can install it on my PC. Wack.

### 1/5 — Gave it many chances

*2021-02-03, version 2.5.0*

I’ve lost money on trades due to 45min floating periods at least 5 times now, and they change your floating rate on their own accord. For instance: I sold DOGE the other day, and was told I would get 33k shares for $1018. DOGE was on a hot streak for about 10minutes before my trade, and an hour after. But somehow over valued the floating rate and I ended up with less DOGE, for a higher price. Purchase price 15% over and I received 31,680 coins. -.- Lost about $60 when the price was basically going straight up for an hour. If you’re a nitwit that doesn’t calculate costs, this is your app. They bank on you.

### 1/5 — Customer service support doesn’t respond

*2021-01-13, version 2.4.6*

I have been trying to contact customer service for over 3 days and counting. I have put in three tickets for the same issue And still no response. I purchased tokens which were exchanged through Changelly currency exchange over three days ago, and they have still failed to appear in my wallet, it wasn’t for a huge amount...but that’s not the point,WHAT IF IT WAS,THAT IS WHAT SCARES ME!!! I contacted Changelly currency exchange, and they responded right away and told me everything went through on their end, and even went as far as showing me the transaction on the blockchain, and they suggested that I contact Jaxx Liberty customer service...BUT there isn’t any customer service support for Jaxx Liberty wallet AT ALL, it’s not like we can call a 1800-number to resolve this issue...so I guess I just must take this “L” as my funds float in crypto cyberspace !!! No response to any of my email tickets. I definitely am super skeptical at this point about this wallet and am definitely not comfortable using it to hold anymore tokens or make any purchases. If your thinking of using this wallet DEFINITELY SECOND GUESS YOURSELF Jaxx wallet jacked me!!!

### 1/5 — Your cryptocurrency will be lost with this useless wallet !

*2020-12-01, version 2.4.6*

I use many wallets, including Abra, MEW, Atomic, Lumi. With all these other wallets I have never had an issue with anything.

Jaxx is a different story. I have lost funds, can never transfer any funds (just sits there on pending even though my mining fees are highest). I exchanged Ethereum for Auger which didn’t show up in my wallet, then was told by their useless support service that they don’t support Auger even though you can exchange and they have a wallet for it. Just constant issues with this crappy wallet.

Avoid at all costs !

NOTE: I successfully used my Jaxx pass-phrases with Exodus wallet. Everything works beautifully

### 2/5 — Becoming very glitchy

*2020-11-12, version 2.4.6*

Unfortunately the Jaxx app as has many failures lately from displaying false balances, hangs in transactions, and when you restore it with your phrase it doesn’t not add back all wallets you had automatically.
Needs improvements.

### 2/5 — More bugs with the latest update

*2020-10-18, version 2.4.6*

Make sure you have all wallets and phrase backed up and easily accessible. When I updated it lost 3 of my wallets. I had to delete and reinstall to get them back. It worked fine for a week, now my holdings preview doesn't show my bitcoin value (it has all other coins). It shows my bitcoin wallet correctly it just doesn't include them in the total.

They don’t have a real customer support so make sure you have backups and another way to access the wallets and lets hope they fix the bugs without introducing more.

### 1/5 — Horrible Wallet Please Beware

*2020-07-11, version 2.4.4*

This wallet is dangerously bad. I sent BTC to this wallet twice. The first time it showed up fine. The second time I sent it the same exact way from the same location and the BTC was actually subtracted from my wallet. I’ve never heard of or have seen anything like it. Unreal and super frustrating and time wasting. Please use a more stable and reliable wallet.

### 3/5 — Does what it says on the label

*2020-07-02, version 2.4.4*

Jaxx is OK. It usually works. At least I feel safe I won’t lose access to my wallets.

If the developers could please get rid of the useless buy / trade UX elements on the portfolio history graph, that’d be awesome. That is separate functionality that has no place overlaying the graph.

I’m actively looking for an alternative solely because of UX issues. Everything else is really solid.

### 1/5 — Lost money from transfer

*2020-06-22, version 2.4.3*

DON’T USE THIS APP!!!! Completed a transfer from Zcash to MCO. Funds never showed up in my mco wallet. Coins just disappeared completely. I sent a message to the exchange they used and they responded that it was completed and sent the blockchain details. Jaxx has NO direct support and the address the funds were sent to wasn’t my wallets address. Now it looks like I’m out my money.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2020-06-10, version 2.4.3*

This app is a scam. Always freezing up. Never shows the correct market price and today I was having issues with my Bitcoin receive address not showing up, so I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it using my private keys, then all of my Bitcoin was gone. Ethereum and Litecoin are still there in my portfolio, but all my Bitcoin is gone. Stay away from this app. I just lost thousands of dollars in Bitcoin.

### 1/5 — So, my wallet replaced w/last update?

*2022-07-25, version 3.0.0*

Nice work. So, I *had* a wallet that had been working just fine in Jaxx Liberty app for a few years. There must have been an app update recently because it asked me to agree to some things (no biggie I thought), then generated a passphrase (hrmmm what?) then whaddaya know? No coins in wallet?

So where’s my old wallet? And why would it just generate a new one without prompting me to perform some backup? Admittedly the value of those coin had dropped precipitously recently and I very rarely use cryptocurrencies, but they had cost me a few hundred dollars about eight years ago. It would be irritating if value goes up to something worthwhile.

Seriously, what the heck?

### 1/5 — Ethereum stolen from account

*2022-03-23, version 2.6.5*

I have used this app for over 5 years. I mostly just watch my Ethereum I invested back in 2017. Last month I checked on it and it was gone. Someone had transferred it out of my account to another wallet. I contacted the company about this and they sent me a stock email response warning about giving your information to strangers on the internet. This of course never happened. I haven’t given anyone information on that wallet and don’t have the password saved on any of my devices. I am sorry now that I trusted this company with my Ethereum. Don’t make that mistake

### 1/5 — Holds your crypto hostage

*2022-02-06, version 2.6.5*

I am able to move whatever coins are supported into Jaxx, but discovered I cannot move them out. Great, right? I get an error message every time and all Jaxx can offer is useless 101 troubleshooting. One message even admits currently just can’t be withdrawn in some areas! What?! Don’t use Jaxx. It is less that worthless.

### 1/5 — Garbage wallet don’t it get all the good reviews are fake

*2022-02-02, version 2.6.5*

This is a horrible wallet the coding is bad sometimes it says I have 0 of a certain coin. I cant even move my tether and shiba to a better wallet the fee to move is insane and it says “you don’t have enough to trade” it’s horrible don’t get this its so bad it’s crap you must be a 3 year old to says it’s good bad for doge and bitcoin also.

DONT GET THIS!!!

### 1/5 — App Issues

*2021-11-25, version 2.6.5*

This App has a bad track record for being dependable. You will get forbidden content messages or where suddenly your wallet is gone. The first few times was stressful as you had to look up your 12 word phrases to get everything to show up again.

Hopefully they get this app fixed soon as switching to another company will be a pain

### 1/5 — Frustrating send and receive interface with nonsense errors

*2021-11-21, version 2.6.5*

I have currency stuck in my wallet that I am unable to send out. I have re-added the Wallet to multiple devices (two phones an iPad and a Mac) and I get the same frustrating stupid error on each device when I try to send currency. Steer clear.

### 1/5 — Scam

*2021-10-18, version 2.6.5*

This app is a scam it will not allow you to send coin anywhere else cash out or anything. Upon setting a password it will tell you the password is not valid I know 100 percent without any doubt I am using the correct one. Support services never gets back to you. This is a scam and I will be reporting it as such

### 1/5 — Price / unit bought or sold

*2021-02-23, version 2.5.0*

There is no clear price / unit ACTUALLY bought or sold.. they tell you what the current price then when you try to make a purchase they don’t tell you the unit price just tell you the shares.. do the math it is not current market price!! This app charges you 3.5% + make they money on the buy and sell your Bitcoin based on true market price!

### 1/5 — Absolutely not good for Alt coins

*2021-02-16, version 2.5.0*

I used for alt coins and transactions would not go through and i would still get charged ETH as though the transaction happened. I contacted Changelley, the 3rd party that Jaxx uses and they referred me back to Jaxx with shown evidence that this is not Changelley’s issue, its Jaxx. No support from Jaxx thus far and has been an issue for a few months now. If used for alt coins be prepared for a problem.

Updated, restored/repaired wallet as suggested by the bot/cookie cutter answer support and the issue still exists. Just lost $106 in ETH again. My crypto is stuck with them.

Apple should remove this app from the store.

### 1/5 — Not very helpful

*2021-02-11, version 2.5.0*

Wish I would have read more about the app. There is no way to sell BTC once you have it in their wallet and the transaction fees are the highest I’ve seen. Besides the fact that for the past few days it doesn’t reflect updated pricing. I’m going to figure out how to get my crypto out and am uninstalling

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — good, kinda anonymous wallet

*2022-07-25, version 3.0.0*

good for small amounts of crypto, easy to buy on there and you dont have to put ur ID and whole info on it

### 5/5 — About missing Ethereum

*2022-04-18, version 2.6.5*

Hi, for those who used Jaxx to store ETH like in 2017 and don't find them anymore in their Jaxx wallet, please do not desperate. The ETH are still there but the wallet cannot find them. It happened after they phased out the HD address system. Jaxx support has documented how to recover the ETH. Basically ETH are stored under several different addresses and Jaxx was consolidating all those address under the wallet, but later they phased that out and only 1 address was kept and all the other addresses were ignored even if they held ETH. So there is a manual input to do where you can force restore of those address and recover the ETH. Again, look into Jaxx for support and Reddit.

### 5/5 — Jaxx is secure!

*2021-10-29, version 2.6.5*

Restored my wallet after not using it for several years. Jaxx was easy to get into it had everything there. I would recommend as a secure crypto wallet! :)

### 5/5 — Decentralized exchange

*2021-09-09, version 2.6.4*

I know there’s some complaints, it’s slow exc,

(also forget about buying crypto directly here, buy on Coinbase & send)

But this is far more user friendly than any other seed phrase wallet I’ve used. 5 stars for that

### 5/5 — Best of the best

*2021-09-08, version 2.6.4*

Its so easy, its not fair to the other wallets. A bit pricy for buy/sell but it should not affect unless you are a day trader or doing very large transactions.

### 5/5 — Does it’s job, simple, seems safe

*2021-07-23, version 2.6.4*

As the title states. It’s got a number of coins, the wallet functions seems to work great. Qr reads fast and seems effective.

### 5/5 — Love this wallet

*2021-06-19, version 2.6.4*

My preferred storage wallet for the big dogs. Would prefer more coins listed, but I’ll keep using it for its ease of use for the big cryptos.

### 5/5 — Love my Jaxx liberty wallet

*2021-05-06, version 2.6.3*

I have most of my crypto in my Jaxx wallet so I’m always down with this. Always connect to a hard wallet and make sure you connect to a separate checking account. Works great though.

### 5/5 — Best for my everyday usage

*2020-07-21, version 2.4.5*

Best friendly comfortable customer service online chat help... always get my problems resolved . Compare to other top names this wallet and it’s partnerships is amazing !!!

### 5/5 — Super easy set up

*2020-01-29, version 2.3.8*

I find the Jaxx wallet super easy to set up and to back up.

I use it to spread the knowledge of crypto transactions. So if I meet friends that have an interest to own crypto I will get them to simply download the wallet and I can nearly instantly transfer funds from A to B without any hassle
