Technical support is slow and unhelpful. It won’t let me choose my store and when I contacted support they blamed it on my store and not the app itself. We have been to the help desk several times and they cannot figure it out. ### 1/5 — Like the store, hate the app *2022-04-24, version 45.2* Literally the worst shopping app ever! Can’t load digital coupons until the day the sale starts. Can’t organize a shopping list. Can’t search for a product and load a coupon from the results. Can’t take a QR code and load the coupon. However, now every time I want to clip a coupon, I get a popup box saying "Do you want to enable notifications about expiring coupons?" There are two words below: Maybe Later, that I assume is supposed to be a button. But it is not functioning. So I have to close the app, reopen it, go to the next coupon, add coupon, get the popup box, and close app again. It won’t let you upgrade to your phone’s capacity. This really stinks. No coupons. No points. Hey, Kroger you gonna send me a grocery stipend, since your new improved app doesn’t work with my phone? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — NOT WORKING *2026-06-28, version 95.3.0* It’s obvious that No-one tested prior to releasing. Used to work very simply everything went into your cart now it creates list that will transfer to the cart. It is so messed up. I love our Jayc and all the folks who work there and this is a poor representation of how hard they try to provide great customer service. If I have to go back to a scratch paper, I’m gonna drive 1 mile down the street and do my shopping at Walmart. ### 1/5 — This app is useless *2026-06-19, version 95.2.0* My app stopped working a couple of months ago. Talked to customer service and followed their instructions but nothing changed. He eventually said all he could do is report my problem. So disappointed not to be able to do pickup because my husband and I both have problems walking now and it’s almost too much for either of us to go into the store. ### 1/5 — App is still not working!! *2026-05-25, version 94.2.0* Following up on the last review I left on May 15th. Recap- My app stopped working on May 7th. Did an update that day after having loading issues and it did not fix the problem but made it even worse. Did all of the suggested things to “fix” the errors with no success. Fast forward to today May 25th -Nothing has been fixed and there are a lot of people complaining with the same issues. This app is useless. I still cannot access it because of authentication issues with try again later prompts. There was another update last week that did absolutely nothing to fix the problems I listed in my last review. There’s no way this app has that high of a rating. Kroger is a partner with Jay c food store and their app is doing the exact same thing with many complaints in the reviews listing the same problems. Can’t authenticate, grayed out boxes, cannot access account info, login in error please try again later, and so much more. Please listen to the people and fix the issues. It doesn’t deserve the 1 star I had to give just to be able to write this. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2026-05-07, version 93.2.0* May 7, 2026: when I try to sign in via the website my phone tells me your website has been hacked and my financial and personal information may be compromised… Latest update has the whole app just blank, contacted customer support which suggested I sign out and sign back in or uninstall then reinstall… signed out and it gave me an error pop up when I tried to sign back in. Uninstalled and it won’t let me sign back in I’ve had the app for a couple years and while it works for clipping coupons it’s not much good for anything else. Technical support is slow and unhelpful. Always has trouble connecting and finding the store I need. The little wheel just circles and circles. The few times that it has worked, the app is complicated to navigate. I definitely prefer Kroger’s quality, but they need to get with Walmart’s app group! Appreciate this service with my busy work schedule and the Sellersburg JayC team is always awesome. Team members always courteous and prompt upon arrival and with delivery. Wish I could tip them.
