## What is JayCK Flow?

Where will your money really be tomorrow?

Most financial apps tell you where your money went. JayCK Flow shows you where it's going next.

Your paycheck has a date. Your bills have dates. Every decision changes your future balance. JayCK Flow turns your finances into a simple timeline so you can see your expected balance before the day arrives.

YOUR FUTURE BALANCE, AT A GLANCE
• Add income and see when money arrives
• Schedule bills, subscriptions, and recurring payments
• Visualize your balance across the whole calendar
• Understand the impact of a purchase before you make it

BEFORE A BIG PURCHASE, ASK "WHAT IF?"
Add a potential purchase and watch how it changes every day after — before you spend a cent.

KNOW YOUR LOWEST BALANCE DAY
Green means on track. Yellow means pay attention. Red means a decision is coming — weeks in advance, not after an overdraft.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN
• Four widgets: today's plan, your balance, the weeks around today, and the full month
• Each widget has its own settings — show everything, or only what still needs you
• Testing a purchase in "What if?" never moves your widgets. The Home Screen only ever shows what's real.

FUTURE FIRST
Traditional budgeting looks back: "Where did my money go?" JayCK Flow looks ahead: "What will my money look like tomorrow?"

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 0.2.6 — 2026-09-01

Your calendar now survives the night.

• Wake up to the new day: the app and the widgets roll over at midnight on
their own — no more yesterday waiting on your Home Screen.
• When a widget can no longer vouch for its numbers, it says "out of date"
instead of guessing. Your Home Screen never bluffs.

Cards got clearer:

• Open any card's statement straight from the Cards menu — no more scrolling
to the closing day and tapping the wrong month.
• Tap ⓘ on a statement to see how much is already done and how much is still
planned. A future settlement now says it assumes the earlier one gets paid.
• Marked a future payment as done? The row now says the money counts from
today — that was always the rule, now it's written where you can see it.

Savings finally speak up:

• Set aside more than you have? The month screen says so and offers to
release some — goal by goal, and it remembers to offer putting it back
  when money arrives.
• Goal progress bars now actually move as you save. (They never did. Sorry.)
• The spending forecast now understands credit cards: what you charge counts
as spending, and card repayments are no longer double-counted.

Fixed

• The forecast panel now matches the calendar for card users.
• "Show all" on a statement with many transfers no longer breaks the app.
• Turning a series into a one-off now tells you which date survives — and
  switching back restores the rest.

### 0.2.5 — 2026-08-26

Your calendar, on your Home Screen.

Four widgets, each with its own settings:

• Day — today's items and where the balance lands, at a glance.
• Balance — how much is really yours: reserved money, the lowest point ahead,
  anything overdue or still unconfirmed.
• Day & Weeks — today beside last week, this week and next.
• Month — the whole month as the app draws it, with day badges and projected
balances. Tap a day and the app opens right there.

One rule we kept on purpose: while you test a purchase in "What if?", the
widgets do not move. Your Home Screen only ever shows what's real.

Also in this release:

• Charge a repeating expense to a card once — choose "this and following" and
every later month follows on its own.
• Analytics now answers two questions: "what left my account?" and "what did I
spend on?" — card purchases finally show up by category in the second.
• Cards can be hidden instead of deleted, and reordered or sorted your way.
• Scrolling the calendar is smoother, and the app now runs at 120 Hz on
  ProMotion displays.

Fixed

• Amounts like 26.49 can be typed into debt fields again — the decimal point no
  longer vanishes as you type.
• An optional end date can now be cleared with one tap, and the dates after it
  come back.
• Months charged to a card no longer lose their card after a restart.
• Double-tapping a button no longer zooms the app out of reach.

As always: your data stays on your device unless you turn on sync, and sync is
end-to-end encrypted — we can't read it.

### 0.2.4 — 2026-08-16

Credit cards, done the way the rest of the app works.

Mark a purchase as paid by card and it stops hitting your balance the day you
bought it. See what the card will owe, decide what to pay and when, and the
calendar shows the money leaving on the day it really leaves.

• A card statement on every closing date: what came from last period, what was
charged, what you've transferred, and what carries to the next one.
• Pay any amount, on any date you choose. Whatever is left rides to the next
  period on its own.
• Or move the remainder forward yourself, and put it back if you change your mind.
• Overpaid? You'll see the credit, and it comes off the next statement.

Also in this release:

• Savings: one mechanism instead of two. The old savings percentage is gone —
goals alone decide what is set aside, so the tile and the monthly reminder can
  no longer disagree about it.
• Clearer marking: hidden, charged to a card, and completed are now three
distinct states instead of one overloaded one.

As always: your data stays on your device unless you turn on sync, and sync is
end-to-end encrypted — we can't read it.

### 0.2.3 — 2026-08-09

Improved

- Money you were expecting is now watched the same way bills are. Each day shows how
many payments in and out are still unconfirmed, and the balance card counts them —
so an amount that never arrived no longer sits quietly inside your balance.
- Typing a transaction name now suggests names you have used before. Picking one also
restores the type and category it had last time.
- The type of a transaction — expense, income or transfer — can be changed after you
create it. Deleting and re-entering used to be the only way, and it lost the changes
you had made to individual dates.
- Over three months or a year, category totals are now split by month instead of piled
  into one list.
- Reconciling your balance now does the subtraction for you: "We expected 1,240.
That's 340 less than we had."
- Account & sync is organised into sections, and progress and errors now appear next
to the button you tapped instead of further down the screen.
- Without a subscription the app no longer checks the server for sync updates it
cannot receive, which saves battery and data.

Fixed

- A repeating payment moved to another date now counts in the month it moved to — in
the transaction list, in category totals and in the outlook. It used to stay in the
  month it came from.
- Tapping Today and then + now dates the new transaction today.
- On iPad, a day's total no longer collides with the day's badge, and each day shows as
many entries as its cell has room for instead of hiding them behind "+N more".
- On iPhone the app now stays in portrait. Landscape reached a layout that was never
designed for it; on iPad both orientations still work as before.
- Signing in with Apple or Google no longer reports a wrong password when there is no
  password to get wrong.
- If a verification code cannot be sent, the app says so instead of reporting success.

### 0.2.2 — 2026-08-01

* Added a safer sync process. If data exists both on your device and on the server, JayCK Flow now asks which version you want to keep before syncing. This helps prevent unintended automatic merges and gives you full control over your data.
* Improved the synchronization experience and reliability.
