### 2/5 — Not a buying point

*2025-12-29*

This system is over thought and under executed. While we haven’t been stranded because of it just brings on another tension point. It turns lights off - it turns lights off. Same with heat. And not when asked. And often it doesn’t do when asked. I’ve got no idea how this idea became a reality. And being that the app hasn’t been updated in a year - my guess is that it’s been abandoned. The team member running it either got a non deserved promotion or laid off when the execs needed a place to cut money.

### 2/5 — Background App Refresh???

*2025-05-07*

Not for sure what the developers were thinking here. Sure… let’s add tank levels, temperature sensors, and TPMS to an App that doesn’t support background refreshing. What I’m trying to say is… if you do not have this app open and looking at it on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc), you will never get notifications telling you important information.

Here’s a scary thought… you use the TPMS for JayCommand and also use your iPhone to provide GPS to get to your next stop. Your tire blows on the way to your next destination. You think, “why didn’t the TPMS warn me?” Well, because this app doesn’t update in the background it cannot send you notifications that something bad is about to happen.

For the developers of this app, this is a major oversight. You support cloud connections and Bluetooth, but not background refreshing or push notifications?? That decision doesn’t make any sense and leaves more than half of your users wondering why they don’t get warned about things.

Is your tank full? Who knows. You won’t unless you open the app and wait for it to refresh.

Outside of this, I enjoy the smart capabilities of the JayCommand and BMPro. The developers just need to invest some time and effort to ensure the app is functioning correctly to send you notifications regardless if the app is on or in the background.

### 1/5 — Lame duck app

*2025-02-21, version 3.18.2*

Worked like a champ at first…now for the last few months will not connect AT ALL.

### 1/5 — Problems Every Time

*2024-12-28, version 3.18.2*

When it works it great. It works 20% of the time. Meh.

### 1/5 — The cloud never works!!!

*2024-10-19, version 3.18.2*

What is the deal with this? I’m logged into the cloud but there is a line through the cloud and it will not remotely control my RV through the cloud!

### 2/5 — Meh

*2024-08-04, version 3.18.0*

When it works - it works great. Lately though - I cannot access the RV remotely like I should be able to. I log in for remote connection through the table inside the RV and through the app on my phone but it never works. So, the phone app is basically worthless. Tablet inside the RV still works for now. If that stops working I won’t be able to control anything in my RV which is kind of a piss poor design.

### 1/5 — Poorly executed

*2024-07-07*

This is like playing whack a mole on your phone. Buttons light up then go dark. Awnings are an exercise in frustration because they stop and start all the time. JAYCOMMAND/TravelLINK app on tablet just closes or a force restart is needed. Jayco needs to step up and resolve these issues. If I could give negative stars I would. The app update that gives you tank level updates has significantly slowed the app down. Also if your going to implement that then put in accurate tank sensors. Now apps wont connect to bmpro cloud. Its just one disaster after another

### 1/5 — Can’t remote connect

*2024-05-30, version 3.18.0*

Done everything I can to be able to remote connect from the app. Never works. It says I’m logged in but not connected. Been like this for 2 years…………

### 1/5 — Forget It

*2024-03-24, version 3.14.0*

Read the other reviews. Downloaded. Cool, overcast day and I have my thermostat set where I want it— on heat at 68 degrees. Within an hour the app turned on the A/C twice, even though the screens on my phone and the base tablet still showed heat. Garbage. Jayco! Give the people who payed so much for your product something of value!

### 1/5 — Unable to use

*2024-02-16, version 3.14.0*

So far this app is useless, I would not buy another Rv with this setup.

### 1/5 — BMPro

*2023-12-28, version 3.14.0*

1.9 rating wow you’re doing really good keep it up.😀😀😀😀

### 1/5 — Never works correctly Jayco 29.5

*2023-11-19, version 3.12.0*

We full time in our Jayco with the BMPRO system, which we’ve had since March. At least twice a month I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to get it to connect to the trailer. This is usually at a time I need to use the app to operate one of the systems (AC, slides, etc.). Totally unreliable system, the programmers at BMPRO should be ashamed of this product…

### 2/5 — App notices

*2023-10-14, version 3.12.0*

Please update app to clear notifications once follow-up has occurred. I continue to receive notices from past events due to full tanks, tire pressure. Even though neither issue is current.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Worst written app ever

*2026-05-25, version 3.18.2*

The delay between tha app connecting to Bluetooth and actually being able to do anything is way too long. I know my fresh tank is empty because I don’t travel with water in the tanks and I am at full hookups. Good luck getting an awning out using the app without it stopping and starting 10 times. Bmpro and Jayco are not listening to their customers and it shows. No one cares at jayco.

### 1/5 — Worst written app ever

*2026-03-26, version 3.18.2*

### 1/5 — Remote connection.

*2026-02-02, version 3.18.2*

If it would only do what it’s designed for it would be cool. Jayco needs to change a better system from someone else.

### 1/5 — Need background refresh

*2026-01-27*

This system should be a lot better than what it is. It’s so hard to believe RV manufacturers fell for this bag of trash. There are safety issues and concerns. Without app refresh there is no way to know if your tires are going low heating up etc… the propane sensors are a joke again without app refreshing in the background you will never know you are getting low on propane. They tell you for cloud support you need a good WiFi connection but refuse to tell you what that means. For some reason on Apple devices my watch will give a detail of an alert that the phone won’t.

### 1/5 — Ehhh

*2026-01-14, version 3.18.2*

It hardly ever works

### 1/5 — Worst written app ever

*2025-09-28, version 3.18.2*

The delay between tha app connecting to Bluetooth and actually being able to do anything is way too long.

### 1/5 — Nothing works consistently.

*2025-08-09, version 3.18.2*

No help from BMPRO. Cannot talk to anyone only via email.

### 1/5 — Nonexistent cloud

*2025-06-18, version 3.18.2*

The cloud is worthless won’t connect if it does it doesn’t show the correct information and then disconnects

### 1/5 — App is ok when connected via Bluetooth

*2025-06-15, version 3.18.2*

App works ok when connected via Bluetooth but it is worthless connecting to the “cloud”. Connection is no -existent. It is essentially worthless once you get over 50 ft. from your RV.
Do better, developers. This is garbage. Why would Jayco associate itself with an app that is useless?

### 1/5 — Absolute trash

*2025-04-12, version 3.18.2*

This app is so unreliable, when all your controls are dependent on an app and it doesn’t work the majority of the time Jayco should consider getting away from this garbage.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New Update from BRPRO WORKS

*2024-11-27*

The new update has fixed all the issues that have been causing cloud issues and things not working for the past 6-8 month. Update 3.18.2. You must update the app on your device and the app on the RV control panel. All the controls work just like they used to over WiFi or Bluetooth now.

### 5/5 — Great product

*2023-10-10, version 3.11.0*

Have used this for over 3 years no problems. Use it 50 miles away form trailer. All bad reviews probably come from 1st time RVer’s. They should just stay in a hotel

### 5/5 — This app is life

*2023-09-13, version 3.11.0*

So our pad in the rig crapped out, under warranty thank goodness. The only way to work anything was this app. 120° in Palm Springs Cali, pad didn’t work but my app did.

### 5/5 — UPDATE RENDERS THE SOFTWARE USELESS!!

*2022-01-13, version 3.1.0*

Great concept. While the software worked (past tense) it was wonderful and very useful, 5 star territory. That said, once the SW needed an update it became completely useless. The SW update continually failed and there is no option to decline the update. You’re stuck! What dumb butt would write the SW without an option to circumvent the update? Makes it a complete waste. Boo to the SW team.

BM PRO responded in 24 hours with:

JAYCOMMAND/TravelLINK
BM PRO
"To force the firmware update to push through please take the following steps. 1. Close out of the JAYCOMMAND app. Swipe all the way out so that its not running in the background. 2. Remove shore power from RV. 3. Disconnect the battery. NOTE: flipping the battery disconnect switch will not kill power to the JAYCOMMAND system! You must physically disconnect the battery. 4. Wait 30 seconds. 5. Connect battery. 6. Plug back in shore power cord. 7. Open JAYCOMMAND app and try to push the firmware again. Stay close to the RV. "

Once I performed the forced update, as instructed by the BM PRO team, everything worked again! Admittedly I was skeptical especially after reading where another user tried and failed using the same provided procedure (Note - I removed both battery cables in step 3). I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5. Great support staff. Thank you BM PRO!

### 4/5 — Android play, CarPlay

*2024-12-21, version 3.18.2*

Wish the app would work with CarPlay so you can have the tire pressure monitor on your screen and easier to access

### 4/5 — Works Great

*2020-11-05*

We use this in our Northpoint 387RDFS and its awesome. When your feeling lazy its nice to be able to adjust heat or air from the bed . Can also adjust all the lights. Have it connected to wifi in our campground and can have the camper cooled off or heated up by the time we arrive. We use the optional propane and temperature sensors as well. The only reason i gave 4 stars is that it needs some time of audible or visible notification when temperature goes outside of adjustable min and max. As it is you have to monitor app for the warning icon.

### 4/5 — Great concept.

*2019-10-27*

Works well with us, I love being able to control the lights from my phone and monitoring the inside temp from where ever I’m at, almost like nest. Watching the slides from the inside and out and stopping when needed without yelling. We’ve already had comments on setting up and being so quick and not yelling at each other, my wife and I, and disrupting the park.

Future update??
I would like to see push notification settings, in regards whenever a grey/black tank is full, I monitor the tanks regardless but if one fills before I catch it. Or simply being able to turn off the exclamation icon for our empty fresh tank when we are connected to city water and not in the condition to boon-dock.

### 3/5 — Almost

*2024-12-14, version 3.18.2*

Does somethings well and other things poorly. Right now I’d just like my wife and both to be able to use the app. But apparently only one person can connect at a time. Not helpful.

### 3/5 — Does the job but needs work

*2024-10-10, version 3.18.2*

Have this on my phone and ipad. It works, but why cant the ipad duplicate the look of the android tablet used in the camper? Even on a new android tablet it looks like an iphone port.

### 3/5 — Great idea but poor execution

*2024-07-08*

I’ve had my Jayco for a little over 1 year and while it is great sometimes, other times it is laughable. For example, it is great when you can turn the air on 30 minutes before you arrive at your camper or need to turn lights on in the dark before you get there. It is terrible when you’re sitting right outside and can’t get the awning to open or close without moving around like you’re trying to “find a signal” with your phone. The cloud connection has worked pretty well during the time I’ve had it until about a week ago when I could no longer connect to it. The camper has internet access, I’ve logged out and back in on both the panel and my app… it never shows the cloud icon now. One of the few benefits is now no longer available. This could be really nice Jayco, just put a little more polish into it. The app experience is not “production ready” at all.
