## Most critical reviews (2 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Hmmm.

*2013-02-06*

I've been longing for something that does this for a while, but this app needs a lot of work. There aren't enough options. It forces you to practice in the lowest octave, as playing in a higher octave yields a score of zero and registers as incorrect. The rhythmic scoring seems arbitrary- at very least it is left unexplained. There is no click to play against so I don't know how they're rating rhythmic precision. This app would greatly benefit from tutorials. Also- just running scales up and down only scratches the surface of what you need to do with them. There should be more exercises like scales in 3rds or ascending diatonic triads. The scale syllabus is thin too- melodic or harmonic minors and their modes are not included. Aside from all that- the interface is pretty ugly too, but I could forgive that if the app was genuinely useful. I really hope they sort these issues out as this app could be great, but I can't recommend this iteration of it.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

I absolutely LOVE this app. The only thing is, when I downloaded the most recent update, I can't select different scales anymore. I can pull up the page, just can't see the wheel to view/change scales

**Developer response:** This should be fixed in the latest versions.
