I’ve been listening to Jazz24 for over 30 years and it never disappoints. We listened on the app when we lived in France twelve years ago, and helped me feel connected to my west coast roots. I love the variety of jazz music they play, and listening to all the well informed DJ’s and MC’s. Well worth listening to Jazz24. Jazz 24 is supremely tasty and one of, if not the best jazz station I have ever listened to. I go back to WADO in New York, when Symphony Sid kept me up from midnight to 5:00 in the morning making my school days very long and sleepy. The music selection is consistently excellent, the app itself is simple and easy to use, and best of all — no annoying ads breaking up the flow. It’s rare to find a music app that just lets the music play without constant interruptions, and Jazz24 does that perfectly. Smooth, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable. But the new app design is horrific! If I want to have have web page I would just go there, don’t need new app. The point of an app was just to do the listening experience and then you can add link to the web site for news etc. It is so distracting from the actual music experience, I find myself switching to other jazz stations more frequently. Please reconsider your design choice or you will start loosing long time listeners like myself and discourage new ones just because of this clumsy “new” app. ### 1/5 — Something wrong with app *2022-12-03, version 2.0.7* App shuts down after a few seconds. Thanks, Jazz24 ### 2/5 — Plays fine, but ... *2014-06-25, version 1.0* Two main complaints. One is that the album artwork and title of song playing are featured small at the bottom of the screen. The large image in the main part of the screen is a slide show of generic promo images. The second is that the song name and artist are not output via Bluetooth (haven't checked USB). When playing in my car, it always says "You are listening to Jazz24/Jazz24". ### 3/5 — No timer to turn off automatic. *2025-10-08, version 6.3.8* No 30 min off switch is inconvenient at bed time. The music play screen should be just that, links to news or videos are just clutter and can go elsewhere and bright white background is jarring.
