Love the music selections, appreciate the DJs who really know their jazz. We appreciate that they play a lot of great Canadian jazz artists, especially those who are contributing to the Great Canadian Jazz Songbook. Love that it is member-supported with limited ads. I especially love the announcer/commentators such as Heather Bambrick, Brad Barker, Jamie Culum and John Devenish. On Sunday, I love listening to John Pizzarellli and Jessica Molaskey. I do not like the design of the app. It is wasted space. The title of music selections and the names of the musicians should be the focus and not some stupid circular thing that moves around. ### 5/5 — Jazz FM 91 *2023-08-28, version 1.0.1.2.0* I have been retired to Lakewood Ranch, Florida for 2-1/2 years. I was a life-long resident of Western New York and, as a music educator, my “go-to” radio station was always 91.1 CFTO Jazz FM. I listen to it exclusively in my car through ApplePlay, and at home on Alexa. There is no better source of both entertainment and knowledge of the jazz world - from Glen Woodcock and the big band era, to the totally up-to-date programming of Director, Brad Barker, through the world influences like Laura Fernandez’ Café Latino. I’m grateful for this app as it allows me to tune in despite living outside Canada, it’s always nice to hear their soothing and uplifting jazz selection any day of the week! Listen to JAZZ.FM91 all the time. However, the app kept and keeps dropping out after 10 - 30 minutes-ish, with unfailing regularity. Tried it yesterday, multiple devices, latest iOS and app updates, no change. Also, artist playing/playlist often does not display. Deleted app and use safari online with home screen icon of webpage instead. Been doing this way for a couple years now, works great, no more crashes. Is there a button to push that offers reasonable choices, such as Exit? Not that I can find. There are other deficiencies, but that has to be the worst one. I had to shut down the iPad to get the app to stop playing the audio. From reading the previous reviews, I can see that nothing has been fixed in the last two years, so there is no point in listing less egregious faults. But I have to wonder if anyone in management actually reads these reviews. Can it really be that people listening on their tablets are such an insignificant minority of listeners that no one cares? Or rather I would but it keeps crashing on my iPhone. I called the station they said they've never heard of the problem. I guess crashing about ten times a day doesn’t count.
