## What is Jazzhacker Scales for 6x Bass?

Scales and modes are crucial building blocks of western (occidental) music, including blues, classical, country, funk, hip-hop, jazz, Latin, heavy metal, pop, punk, rap, R&B, reggae, reggaeton, rock, ska, soul, trip-hop, … and beyond!

Jazzhacker apps are practice, study, and reference guides for musicians of all abilities, playing any genre of music. Each title includes 340 illustrations of the most popular and useful scales and modes. 

Each illustration displays pertinent info (name, formula, notes) about a scale or mode and a stylized guitar (or bass) fretboard showing the locations of all notes of the scale or mode on the fretboard (its pattern), all at a glance.
