This App is worthless *2026-05-16, version 1.0.19* I feel jipped. New expensive amp and this is the software for it? Doesn’t even seem real. Jeez JBL. What is it even for? ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-05-07, version 1.0.19* Can't get past the TOS screen. ### 1/5 — The app doesn’t work *2026-04-14, version 1.0.19* Only the virtual power button works in the app. Nothing else works. It’s got great power great sound great performance, but the interface and the app seriously need an overhaul and for me to have owned this unit for over a year and they still have not fixed what they promised me. I can’t even use it as a basic remote for basic functions. Just have ChatGPT write you a basic app for basic controls. If the interface of the os itself and the app don’t get a massive overhaul in the very near future I will absolutely be replacing JBL products in every manner and watch the company’s demise from afar. ### 1/5 — Unacceptable *2025-12-29, version 1.0.19* Let me just start by saying this is the worst device app I’ve ever used. For a stereo receiver released in 2025 this is a very sad attempt. Even the app connectivity is terrible. The functions are few and far between. It’s hardly worth my time writing this review, and it’s unfortunate because I think the receiver is quite good and as good aesthetic. I just hope that somebody from JBL sees this and considers making a new app that works. Things that need fixed: you should be able to open the app and turn the receiver on remotely.
