Earliest was 2pm tee time. ### 1/5 — The Worst *2024-12-15* This is one of the worst app experiences I have ever seen. Constant crashing, booking times seem to always have issues, and take 1+ months for simple fixes. I wish JC would sell all their courses in SD so someone that is competent would take them over and give us all a better experience ### 1/5 — App not working for residents *2024-11-27, version 15.02.00* Been 3 months and I still can’t book resident t-times. Called and said they are working on it but does it really take this long to fix? This is that app. I hope JC didn’t pay someone to create this, because if they did they need to get their money back. Worst UI ever, formatting is a disaster and doesn’t keep you logged in ever. Please do better JC. ### 1/5 — This app is the embodiment of how little JC cares about its customers *2024-05-21* I’ve been using this app for a few years now, it was pretty bad when I started using it, and over time has gradually gotten worse. I was so excited today when I was notified that there was an update available for the app, only to find NOTHING has been fixed. It looks terrible, the functionality is awful, design and fonts are all over the place and illegible. Despite the fact that I’ve logged in with their ID function hundreds of times and checked “remember me”; I have to log in every single time I use the app. The only thing worse than this app are the rock hard mats at Encinitas Ranch that should have been replaced 5 years ago. JC Golf should stop being a money vacuum and start caring about the product they are putting out there and investing some of that revenue back into their businesses. The people who run this corporation obviously don’t care though. ### 1/5 — Holiday Rates *2023-12-18, version 11.07.00* Absolutely unreasonable!! Golf Club of California charged us a Full holiday rate of $85 dollars one week before Christmas, claiming they are charging holiday rates the full week before Christmas. Absolutely gouging. ### 1/5 — Crappy app - waste of time *2023-08-22* Apps are meant to be time efficient and effective at automating tasks. This one is neither. You are asked to constantly login each time for each course, even though a JC member has the same login for all JC Courses. What a waste of time. And it is ineffective at returning accurate tee times with that useless clock spinning like a gyro - you are better off calling the course and talking to a human. Please improve this or stop talking about this crappy app!! ### 1/5 — Worthless app *2023-08-19, version 11.00.00* Requires you to log in OVER and OVER and OVER. Even when it does work you can’t book a decent tee time before 3pm. Going through safari works better. It’s clear they do not care about the interface of the app. One of the most laggy, annoying and tedious app to check tee times. It’s actually ridiculous. Makes me want to not renew my jc pass because of how terrible and annoying it is to set up tee times. If you don’t believe me. Try it out for yourself. Have to go through the website that connects you back to the App. Why can’t you crest an App that works? Is it really that hard to find a programmer who knows what she/he is doing? And monitor it so you can fix it when it does not work. Like RIGHT NOW! ### 1/5 — Poorly done *2026-07-04* Poorly communicated email sent to me that doesn’t identify the sender as JC Golf. Could have been sent to the trash. When I get updated version it no longer lists 4 reservations I already made under the older version of the app. Yuck! ### 1/5 — App should be banned *2026-06-24* Useless buttons, disconnected logins, sluggish response, generally bad user interface. Updates are supposed to improve apps, not make them worse. If there was a “hateful app” rating this one is a 12 out of 10. ### 1/5 — Just awful *2026-06-19* The IDme login literally logs you out after just a few minutes (once logged in you should stay logged in) and the new teetime function doesn’t autorefresh every minute like it used to. What was a mediocre app to begin with is now barely functional. They just released an update and now the Notify Me function is broken. Bravo guys, worst app on my phone hands down which is to be expected from an organization that shuts down its driving range 90 minutes before sunset. For the money we spend on the membership and all other JC costs I would expect more. Be better…. ### 1/5 — Horrible update *2026-04-01* The worst thing before this update was having to login on some courses but not others. Now some courses default back to the standard web page where you have to click through again to enter booking engine but the rendering overlaps and won’t let you proceed. It just takes you to an infinite loop. How bad can you be to break something that’s just needs to hold onto cookies and point to the actual booking engine and not a web page to get to a different booking engine that’s broken? ### 1/5 — It looks like it was made by a 2 year old monkey, on a farm *2026-03-02* This app is barely functional when it does refresh and/or not crash. That’s an unnecessary action. I should be able to authenticate once and then be free to check multiple courses (one at a time) for tee time availability.
