The quality slipped for a while but lately has been improving. I do feel some items are overpriced, so I tend to wait for sales. I only wish they didnt offer so many items as Final Sale—an item purchased online should always be returnable IMO. The website used to be very glitchy but the app is great. ### 2/5 — Meh *2026-08-25, version 2026.11.0* I love shopping at JCrew. However, the app does not live up to expectations. Even with the latest update it does not save my location even within the same shopping session I. It also does not routinely apply coupons or shopping cores so very often I have to call after my order to get coupons and codes applied. Don’t have any of these issues when I shop at the website. Your filters are SO non user friendly. Did you usability test them? First, when selecting size, say 6, it includes numeric clothing size 6 and shoe size 6. And what is even more challenging is that EVERYTIME I select a size it brings me back to the top. I cannot make a purchase without the page crashing. This has been an issue with J Crew for a very long time. It baffles me that this company in the year 2026 cannot create a functioning online shopping experience. I will instead continue shopping at competitors who actually care about customer experience. ### 1/5 — Apple sign in not working *2026-06-27, version 2026.8.0* Signing in w/ Apple does not work - leads to page where passkey button does not work. I waited a year or so before trying it again and it is still a terrible app. Why are the fonts so extra large that a simple word like “filter” cannot fit on one line? It looks like it was made in 2010 before people know how to make apps. Update June 2026: still THE WORST. I wish I could attached screenshots to this review because it is absolutely the worst interface. When I click on my orders, it is completely blank, a white screen. There are always problems with items loading properly or accurately reflecting stock. I love j crew but their app makes me never want to shop online. I kept trying to finish a transaction but it said promo codes can’t be applied. I didn’t realize until after days of trying and missing some sale items the promo codes can’t was put on by Jcrew for me to apply for the Mastercard. Pretty annoying.
