With app installed on iPhone,  the device will not recognize as an external device on my iPhone. 
Im able to use the device on my imac computer usb connection. It will show up as a external drive. I'm able to upload and download pics and videos on the iMac. But using the connection for iphone, the app wants to back up my device. I can not access the iMac files I had created . 
The same problem using my Ipad Pro.
Note:  Item is the JDTC 128GB.

No matter what I do the drive won’t copy one photo! In fact all it does is after I plug it in and agree for it to communicate with it,it loads and jumps to Home Screen of app and back to loading its like in a loop im very upset about this I paid 60$ for a drive that I can’t get to work earlier I was able to back up some photos worked file now it won’t load no matter how long I wait! I read the logs and I’m seeing what’s called a homebuttons.data that keeps coming back even tho I delete it. Is that anything bad? Please help asap

The included manual says to get the full size (256GB in mine) you need to format it as n the computer.  I only have/use Windows computers, but it does not state what kind of “Format” is needed?  FAT, FAT32, ExFAT???
I have no clue.  I also noticed the app has no available to any files Within the iPhones “FILES” app. Please, please make this a dream come true.

Just installed the JD App on my ipad. It sees my photos but none of my files. I went to the support page and clicked on live chat. 404 Error. Not good. It Claims they have live support till 10pm EST. They do NOT. I tried to enter a support email but it never seemed to send the request. Not good. If I cannot get this resolved soon, I will return the JD Memory Drive.

Have downloaded the app, authorized all pictures and every time I try to go and transfer over anything to the drive the app crashes. What a waste of money!! Glad I did not promote this product on TikTok shop!

Why does a photo saving app need your contacts and music? The JD Memory app makes a copy of photos which doesn’t save any or reduce your memory storage.

自動バックアップがウリなのにアプリが落ちてしまう。 iPhone7の空き容量は2GB以上ある状態。手動コピーも200MBくらいすると落ちてしまう。もしかしたらiPhoneから移したいデータ量が多く落ちてしまうのかも。動画は1つあたり長くて1分半程度だが200MBは超えていると思うのでそれもキャパオーバーなのだろうか。データの合計は20000個を超えているので多過ぎるのだろうか。(そのうち動画は3000個)。外部メモリの書き込み可能容量との差を1GBくらい余裕を持たせたが落ちてしまう。自分のせいなのか製品側の問題なのか、何が理由なのか分からない。USBメモリ本体は128GBを3500円くらいで購入した。USBメモリの書き込み可能容量は117GBで元から入っているデータは14GB。問い合わせ先はGmailで心許ないけど個人でやっているとしたら頑張っている方だとは思う。購入前に色々確認するべきだった。今後に期待します。/追記:iPadで試してみました。移したい量13GB、書き込み可能容量117GBでバックアップしようとすると落ちます。写真も開こうとすると落ちます。動画は手動ですが3〜10個ずつ移せました。セール終わったら商品価格が7千円くらいになっていて3千円ちょっとで買ったので傷は浅くて済みました。使えないと3千円の価値もなく、悔しいのでもうちょっと試行錯誤しようと思います。The app crashes.

I was tired of my photos making my phone slow and this was the perfect solution. Even though the app crashes, sometimes it still runs pretty good for the major majority of the time. And even has an option for you to lock the folders. 10/10 I actually brought 5 different drives from this company and they all work fine

I was reading the other reviews and those folks did not read the directions.  First, if things don't seem right, it says that you have to flip the plugin because you must match the 3.0 configuration to your plug on one side or the 2.0 on the other side, if you don't have the 3.0 phone or tablet.  

It is confusing, but older phones and iPads have the 2.0 plug and the newer models (5th gen iPad) use 3.0, so just unplug and turn your Memory usb over then plug in.  It works.  I never knew they had the different versions for 2.0 to 3.0.  Don't give up.  This little flash drive does wonders.  Read the directions.  It will solve everything.  

I am already impressed by the speed and ease of use after reading the instructions.  Makes all the difference in the world.  The number of photos someone mentioned, that too, is fully explained to the letter in the instructions.  The other reviewers did not read the instructions.  Everything does work and very well.

I bought the Apple MFi Certified 256GB Photo-Stick to be able to download my photos from my iPhone directly, which uses this app. Perfect for holidays or sharing photos.

It worked straight away and did exactly what I wanted. I’ve not tested to see if it’ll cope with a 4+GB video file, but I’m very happy it works as advertised.

I have been using the software and hardware combination for well over a year on the phone and a multitude of iPads.  It is incredibly helpful to synchronize all media onto other Macs or MacBook pros.

I am going to try the app a little bit later after running this update to see if it successfully fixed the inability to launch the app.

約9千枚の写真と動画が15分ほどで保存できました。
日本語説明書がきちんと付属されて届くので操作には困りませんし、他のレビューで書かれてるように落ちることもなく、安定して使えました。
フォルダ分け機能もあり、同じ写真の読み込みも可能なので非常に便利です。
小型で持ち歩けるのもいいところですね。

製品の保存がどれくらい耐久あるかが不明なのと、
連絡先の保存ができないのでマイナス１。

This app used to be great. I had no problems. But then Apple updated to iOS 16 and now my videos won’t fill the full 16:9 tv screen. If they update the firmware for this it’d be a full 5 stars.

Drive itself works perfect, but sometimes app crashes, app reloads itself and JDTDC drive is not visible, I need remove the drive and re-attach it to the lighting port. There is no moving function inside of JD drive folders. Please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks.
