Most dating apps require you to scan your face upon creating an account to make sure the photos used are yours , but not Jebena. Even accounts that get reported as fake or scam don’t get removed. That’s not just frustrating it’s pointless and feels like a trap to push you into paying for a subscription. This kind of artificial delay has nothing to do with improving the experience it’s just a money grab. The devs clearly prioritized profit over user experience. If you’re serious about meeting people, don’t waste your time with this app. I would not recommend it to anyone. They really need to rethink their approach. ### 1/5 — Overrun With Fake Profiles and Crypto Scammers *2025-06-11, version 4.1* I downloaded this app hoping to meet someone genuine, but unfortunately, it’s been mostly a waste of time. The biggest issue? Most of the women on here are using stolen or fake profile pictures — usually photos of models or influencers that are clearly not them. It doesn’t take much effort to reverse image search and confirm the deception. Worse, a disturbing number of them claim to be crypto investors or “financial experts”, and the conversation almost always turns toward trying to convince you to invest in some sketchy platform or app. These are clearly scams, and it’s happening far too often to be a coincidence. It honestly feels like this app is not doing enough to screen fake accounts or protect users from fraud. If you’re not super cautious, you could easily get tricked into giving away money or personal info. This platform needs stronger verification systems and better moderation. Until then, I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a sincere connection. Use extreme caution, and don’t fall for the crypto bait. Seems like this should be a simple fix so hopefully that’s what happens soon. Also, when selecting photos to include in our profile, it doesn’t allow me to select any from my “Favorites” album on my iPhone which is a bit annoying when you have your better selfies saved there.
