## What is JeDéclare?

Le télé-service permet aux voyageurs d'estimer, de déclarer et de payer en ligne les achats effectués à l'étranger, à tout moment et en tout lieu . Il s’applique aux marchandises contenues dans leurs bagages personnels, dépourvues de tout caractère commercial, dont la valeur et la quantité excédent les montants des franchises voyageurs et taxables dans la limite des seuils prévus par la réglementation en vigueur. 
Les voyageurs peuvent payer la taxe forfaitaire au plus tôt 48 heures avant leur arrivée en Polynésie et à l'aéroport jusqu'au passage en douane. Une fois le paiement effectué les voyageurs sont informés par courrier électronique et peuvent télécharger le reçu à partir de JE DECLARE.

En cas de contrôle au passage en douane, le voyageur qui aura d’ores et déjà acquitté le paiement via le téléservice « JE DECLARE », présentera les marchandises préalablement déclarées ainsi que sa quittance conservée sur son téléphone portable ou sur papier.
