I have registered with my gmail id and was using the app . Out of nowhere it logged out and not allowing me to login back with the same id. It says user not registered and if I try to register again it says user already exist. Pathetic ! ### 1/5 — Poor features and unstable app *2024-06-19, version 5.2* The app stopped working on iOS 12 and doesn’t offer any premium features worth keeping the app on your phone. Basic features of lock & unlock are old age in 2024. The obd in the vehicle could be used for so much more other than these basic functions. Instead of drivers score and other unrelevant details why cant the app provide access to basic data & functionalities of the vehicle first. The vehicle has a GPS and the basic function of GPS is navigation. But Jeep decided to use this GPS only to show the location of the car on this app. The GPS has no other use. It’s utterly useless if the GPS fitted in the OBD is not available to the vehicle for navigation and you have to connect a phone for getting navigation directions. ### 1/5 — Dont update now they want subscription *2024-06-06, version 5.2* It's horrible first they made us suffer with this terrible app took feedback from us. Did RND on us. Still, we struggled talked on customer support, et cetera et cetera, to make this app reasonably okay and now the latest update it says your subscription is due. Please renew it after 20 days and the subscription renewal cost is 4999. I should have deleted the app long ago. ### 1/5 — Won’t let me register my jeep *2024-04-26, version 5.1* 2018 Cherokee Latitude tyried putting in the vin and says it’s incorrect… I made sure for Over an hour that I was putting it in correctly ( dyslexic) And says its incorrect and to put a 20 digit number. And the vin is 18 characters… Safe to say I’ll be deleting the app as it’s a waist of time. ### 1/5 — Dinosaur era app *2024-04-09, version 5.0.3* The experience this app provides to a Jeep owner couldn’t be further away from the one we get from driving its vehicles. It will take serious design and engineering to fix it. My recommendation - please junk this junk and start from scratch. Trust me, you have nothing to lose. It couldn’t possibly get any worse. As pathetic as it could get ### 1/5 — App broken from last 3 months *2024-02-15, version 5.0.3* Every new version comes with new bugs. After 5.0.3 update app is broken again. Now vehicle data is not updating, some times after lot of refresh the screen shows just vehicle health nothing else. Driving history and rest of all widgets have been vanished ——————————————————————— still app is not working properly, it keeps logging out automatically every minute. Very pathetic response from Jeep India and the app team - can’t this be fixed ? ———————————————————————- Tried with new version 5.0.1 - nothing is fixed, still in same state. The app doesn’t show any data ———— 26th Dec Post ———————— The app has been completely broken from 1st week of December. Nothing is working. Why can’t this be rollback to previous version which was working fine without the so called “AI” chatbot feature ?? I really don’t care if this fancy AI features. Just give us back the original basic functionality of connectivity and vital info of car. I did raise complaints and spoke to many time to customer care, but no one is interested in fixing the issue. ### 2/5 — Improve your apps *2024-01-28, version 5.0.2* Using a meridian overland. In my IOS apps I can not able to do many things shown in video. The most irritating part is it is asking to log-in again and again. Please improve your apps and best to learn from small companies they are making it way better. ### 1/5 — App stopped working after upgrade *2023-12-28, version 5.0* I am using ios 17 and on 21-dec-2023 JEEPLIFE app got updated with version 5.0. From then my experience with this app is very bad. I am sure if I reach out to support they will redirect me to the service center and they will keep the vehicle for atleast two days. Not sure why FCA released this version without proper testing. Utterly disappointing.. ### 1/5 — Broken after latest update *2023-12-20, version 4.9* The app completely broken after latest update. The texts ate truncated to the point that they are nothing except “…”. Now even Find my Jeep and all other connected tech features too seem to be down. Such a shabby quality and maintenance. Jeep you should be ashamed of yourself. ### 1/5 — Latest update broke app *2023-12-18, version 4.9* This app has been generally far poorer quality compared to some of the competitor apps. However, the latest update has literally broken the app and made it quite unusable- data such as fuel, battery, coolant etc do not display any values whether the vehicle is running or not, it appears the data is being captured, but the display field in the app is unable to display the whole number. Same with the labels for Battery and Coolant- they only display the first 4 characters and then 3 dots. Pretty basic functional testing before releasing would have caught this. Very disappointed! ### 3/5 — Bug fixing needed *2023-12-15, version 4.9* Even though the latest update seems nice in terms of usage , the information displayed isnt complete , the letters and numbers are incompletely displayed and looks like there too many bugs which need fixing ### 1/5 — Poor Design… Lacks Features… Just a Gimmick… *2023-12-14, version 4.9* I do not know whether Jeep got this app developed in-house or by a third party developer, but in any case the design is absolutely amateur and horrible. You need to go through five taps on the screen just to see where your vehicle is right now. Coming to features, I must say that the app doesn’t justify the vehicle price. The app is just a gimmick and adds very little value. Some other car manufacturers whose vehicles are not as pricey as Jeep Compass, offer a much better app. Someone inside Jeep should sit up and review this whole app and decide how to make it better and useful for the car owners. ### 3/5 — Add more features *2023-10-26, version 4.8* 1.Start Engine from Mobile connectivity 2. AC contronls from Mobile connectivity. 3. Close Sunroof automatically When we lock the Jeep from both key and mobile connectivity. 4.In trip data for each trip add the fuel oil consumption along with fuel qty. Total Odometer reading also to be displayed on the trip me also to be logged for each start and end of each leg of trip. These are basic things which can be updated by Software. This features we get in 20 lacs Rupees cars only, why can’t we expect this features to be added in 40+ lacs. I HOPE THIS WILL BE ADDED SOON ### 3/5 — Error in my jeep life App *2023-07-05, version 4.6* 1.it’s shows Driving always even when I’ve parked the Car. 2.It shows a fixed location since last few months.. while in it all time Driving mode which is being reflected on app screen with ignition off status…🧐🧐 3. And yes it can see the future as well…😳😳😳 As mentioned above when I she current location of my car shows driving history date 8 Feb 2036 and time 8:43 pm. 🧐🧐 4. And yes I don’t get where to address the complaint and who will resolve it. In trip data for each trip add the fuel oil consumption along with fuel qty. at the start and at the end of trip to be also logged for the user to see . 2. Total Odometer reading also to be displayed on the trip me also to be logged for each start and end of each leg of trip . 3. Provision to share , print and save all the data of each trip from the app. This will help user to check his running cost of the vehicle on a regular/ daily basis. 4. If possible and bandwidth allows the 360 camera can be activated and viewed on the app so as to car surroundings of required which can be of great use in certain situations . 5. TPMS reading also to be displayed on the app. 6. Company / third party dashcam if fitted in the car then the facility to be provided to start /stop and view recording for dash cam from the app and also facility to store those recording on the camera / or upload to cloud feature should be made available . ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst customer service from Jeep / Stellantis India connectivity team *2026-09-06, version 7.7* The app is stuck for the last location data of 5-Jul-2026. When called multiple times to Jeep Connectivity team, I was told that there is Backend issue and there is no ETA to fix the same. It is been 3 months and if Jeep is not able to fix such critical customer issue then I am doubtful about Jeep’s technical capability and focus on customer service. It just made overall experience of owning premium brand worst. Then you realise someone got it made just as an assignment, a chore, a petty little task. The app is absolutely behind in user experience and onboarding. There is so much missed out in terms of opportunity and experience from this app. When you can have a whole ecosystem possible for jeepers to connect, create experiences, organic bonding, accessory sales, upgrades, loyalty programs, secondary tie ups, fuel up points , and so many things to take your brand and goodwill up many notches. Please think about it,act on it , don’t act like a useless aged investor company that is moving towards a slow death ### 1/5 — Faulty information requested *2025-10-16, version 6.1* When trying to signup, the app is asking for a combination of 20 numbers and letters for the VIN number but the VIN consists of only 17! I haven’t been able ti sign up so honestly I can’t say if it works or not but the starting issue gives a good hint. ### 1/5 — Jeep Life Application *2025-08-21, version 5.7* Jeep Life application has ceased to update after three years from the vehicle's purchase, which prevents tracking of the vehicle's movement, fuel consumption, and other features. Moreover, upon reaching out to Jeep customer care, I was informed that the Jeep Life subscription is no longer available for renewal. Such a response from a premium SUV manufacturer like Jeep is disappointing. ### 1/5 — Bad App *2025-08-20, version 5.6* One of the worst app I have seen in the market for any car. Especially since jeep is positioning itself as a premium car they have to improve on the app. And it stops working after 3 years. As solid as jeep is built the app is one of its biggest letdown. Extremely slow and glitchy set up. Need to visit service center to fix anything. Even after paid the renewal charge of 3,999/- still they did not renewed the app. Looks like very below average customer support and do not have any clue what’s going on in Jeep Back end team. There were some issues initially but once the app was fully activated from back end it’s been working flawlessly. Though the app is pretty basic but it’s fine. I personally would not prefer to have too much remote access of my car through mobile app. However, it would be useful if information pertaining to DEF level and TPMS is also displayed in the app. Hopefully in the coming updates. I had conversation with Mr. Ravikant several times over the issues I was facing with my jeep life connectivity app. Mr. Ravikant is a very cooperative, soft spoken and always available on call whenever in need. He listen to issues very patiently and always try to come up with the best possible solution. I personally feel Mr. Ravikant is a gem for the Jeep India. I wish him all the very best for his future. Haven’t had any issues in the past couple of weeks except for limited connectivity issues when parked in the basement of buildings. But overall it works fine. Hopefully, more features will get added in the future, but for now the app helps you lock and unlock the car, turn on blinkers, honk and also check for the status and health of the vehicle.
