But there’s an issue that when I won, I was placed in last. And when I got third, I was placed in Sixth? I don’t know what’s happening can anyone explain this to me? ### 3/5 — Pluses, negatives, and wishes *2023-01-17, version 1.8.0* First off, the graphics and audio effects are very good. Definitely in a five star category. So a plus here. Have no clue as to how the jousting and football events are scored. Looked for this information in the information section but found nothing. Some additional explanation is needed. Game repetitiveness quickly devolves game into the ‘seldom played after a short time’ list. My “wishlist “ is a seasonal progression mode allowing for marble-characteristics to carry over season to season instead of random resets. Let me manage more than one team. Since the events resolve with no direct influence on the outcome, this shouldn’t be a problem. Basically a good start then hoo-hum finish. ### 4/5 — Pretty good way to kill time. *2022-12-01, version 1.8.0* The app is pretty faithful to the YouTube channel. Right down to the pain you feel when your favorite team finishes the season in 14th place. But the only issue that keeps me from giving this a 5 star review is that the app crashes frequently for me. ### 4/5 — Keeps Crashing *2022-09-09, version 1.8.0* It’s a cool game and I really like the YouTube league but ever since I activated full spectators it just will not load without crashing. ### 3/5 — My kids seems to love it, but as far as I can tell, the IAP doesn’t seem to work with Family Sharing *2022-07-31, version 1.8.0* We love the marble racing videos, and this app seems fun, so I’d happily pay to unlock the various reasonably-priced IAPs, but I bought the 99 cent No Ads IAP first, and to the best of my reasonable ability, it doesn’t seem to work/restore on other devices that use family sharing. They take all four spots on the track, and it doesn’t resolve. However, I would recommend one major change. This would be the ability to play offline. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wanted to play this game on a road trip but haven’t been able to due to a lack of internet connection. I believe this game would rise to a whole new level if we had the ability to play offline. I also would recommend a way to keep the person playing a little more engaged possibly by more announcing from Greg woods or even a way to better control your marbles during the Olympics. I don’t get it. unless you tell me it makes a difference in the team performances or whatever. But other then that it’s not necessary. It doesn’t include a premium option that gets rid of ads which it desperately needs. You should be able to skip rounds you’re not playing. Where is the tutorial on how the arrows work and what they do? When you attempt to adjust the arrows they keep pulling down the iPhone Notification Center. Would not a big deal if you could turn off ads for a fee, but game forces you to sit through constant trashy ads. Far too many ads. *2022-03-05, version 1.7.1* I’m a really big fan of the YouTube channel, so I decided to try this game. My impressions are that, so far, the game isn’t ready for release. Why not? First, it’s poorly optimized. A game with this level of graphics should not be dropping frames on an iPad Pro. Second, the game doesn’t really even work. It’s impossible to complete a season because the game complains about an error and puts you in an endless loop of the jousting event. Third, the commentary needs some work. Actually have Greg record lines for the game, and paste them together to respond to events in a way that makes some sense. Sports games have been doing this better since at least the 1990s. Just sounds like they grabbed some sound bites from the YouTube videos for this release. Fourth, ads. There are a ridiculous number of ads in this game. Video ads pop up several times during each event (not just between events like you might expect). Even got an ad going to the settings menu. Really? Also, there’s no way to buy an ad-free experience. I could say more, but the TLDR here is that the game is broken and unfinished … and really wasn’t ready for release at all. Love the YouTube channel and all the care that goes into each video. But this game is a rush job, and it shows. In the (part of) a season that I played, Balls of Chaos was in dead last until I got to the jousting event and couldn’t continue. This, at least, is true to the real-life events. It’s tough being a fan of BoC. ### 1/5 — Unplayable!!! *2022-03-02, version 1.7.0* The game has way too many ads that it makes it unplayable. It’s a good concept and the game itself would be good with a few updates but having 4 to 5 ads per event is absurd. There should be a tutorial that explains how shifting the marbles affects their movement. The stat adjustments could not possibly be doing anything based on how I’ve experimented with the speeds on block pushing and all my marbles ALWAYS stayed together. It might not be so bad if I could skip through the other teams. I would love if new seasons, teams and even marbula one or sand rally were added because i wanted to do a 2023 league and i had to use the SOLAR FLARES as team plasma. Good that I dont care for plasma and i like ducks but please add new events, 2022 and 2023 and even a marbula 1 or sand rally would be nice. ### 5/5 — Just a suggestion *2023-10-16* This game is great, but I feel like it gets a bit too repetitive. This game stopped getting updates, but I thought I’d just leave a good review because why not lol ### 5/5 — I have A LOT of ideas *2022-10-15, version 1.8.0* I am a big jellies marble league fan and I can’t wait for the marble league 2022 to start. 1st can you please add ALL the teams which ever competed at Marbula 1, Marble ManiaX or Marble League? Even the ones which are retired! 2nd can we have ALL the editions of the marble league? I’m getting bored of my teams going through the same events. 3 of my teams (Rassberry Racers, Savage Speeders and the Hornets) Have placed at least top 4 both 2 times. But they have never won it. (Thunderbolts and Balls of chaos have.) Alos I’d like to customize my OWN marble league with events which I chose for my teams to do. Finally can you have Greg Wodds to commentary for events which you have never done before. I just want a variety of events I know I’m asking for a lot but over the next few updates can you put these details in here please? P.S GO !!!!!RASPBERRY RACERS, PURPLE ROCKETS AND PINKIES!!!!! EDIT make it 2022 theme ### 5/5 — Fun *2022-07-31, version 1.8.0* I downloaded this game as a joke but after like 10 minutes of this I could not stop playing it. It was weirdly fun to say the least ### 5/5 — Amazing Game *2022-07-21, version 1.8.0* As a huge JMR fan, when this was released, a lot of fans including me were ecstatic. There was the season mode which replicated the Marble League except you could do it whenever you wanted to. The classic mode brought a unique way to just play one or two events instead of the whole season. Finally, the interactive mode was for the more hands-on. They also added story mode and commentary to make it so much better. Amazing Game overall. The whole concept of Jelle’s is setting up marbles for runs, not driving marbles around a racetrack. That being said, this game does a great job at what Jelle’s is. You want a marble Olympics with 16 events? You got it. You want to run a single quick event? You got it. You want all those great colored marbles and teams with great graphics? You got it. There’s even an arcade mode with a few events for those Who want to “drive” the marbles. All in all this is a very good game if you know what Jelle’s is all about. There is a little UI issue with stuff being a bit blocked on the edge but other than that it’s very good, I hope more content comes out soon. ### 5/5 — Fantastic! *2022-03-16, version 1.7.4* My family watches Jelle’s marble runs religiously. We’re so excited to be able to play as our favorite teams! (And to be able to exclude our rivals!) There is endless replay value, and tons of new teams to meet and fall in love with. I know that it is repetitive, but at least for me, it doesn’t take away from the fun. I’ve done nearly a dozen seasons with no boredom (outside Diving, but that’s the event, not the game). I have a few suggestions, though. First, an ability to create custom teams would be nice, like they have on the PC game. Second, an ability to change the events would be amazing. I, for example, would love to put in events like the High Jump and Collision in.However, even with these small drawbacks, it is a fantastic game. On top of that it’s FREE, and free is a great price. It’s absolutely worth checking this game out. ### 5/5 — Finally!! *2022-03-02, version 1.7.0* I’ve truly enjoyed supporting this game and watching it come to life on Steam, and to have it on mobile is even better!!! I hope there are plans to have an option to remove the ads, although the ad setup in this game is one of the better ones.
