Me gustaría que hicieran una copia para Android, usualmente el cliente original de Jellyfin es un poco aburrido. Not sure what it means, but it might be helpful for the bugging. Even simple operations like search or browsing through the app, all of a sudden the app crashes, we need to reopen that again . When I try to load the app on the first load app looks very slowly, the images, etc Of course, it is a beautiful app, but there is some work to do ### 1/5 — No app translation *2024-10-05, version 0.10.0* Bad ### 1/5 — Buggy *2024-09-21* Doesn’t show libraries of music and photos. Movie library browsing is quite buggy: nothing happens when you select many movies and many movie slots are empty in the rendered page. Movies that I can play, play well as far as I can test. **Developer response:** Hi Avi, Jellyflix is only intended for video playback. There’s no support for music or photos. The other issues you described did get improved in the newer version. ### 1/5 — Great idea, but needs a lot of work *2024-06-29* 90% of I tried to play flickered, froze or did not work. Das Wechseln zwischen den tabs dauert mehrere Sekunden und Bilder laden auch sehr langsam, das geht über die Jellyfin App alles schneller und responsiver. ### 3/5 — Best player but missing some key features *2025-10-03, version 1.4.886* Of the Jellyfin players I’ve used, it has by far the best media player. If watching a movie this will be my go to. Seriously lacking for watching TV series. Doesn’t auto play to next episode and doesn’t keep progress properly in episode if you leave mid episode. Will be keeping an eye on future updates, but sadly not my go to player for the time being. ### 3/5 — Could be better *2025-10-02, version 1.4.886* Could playback everything in my library. Better than the OEM client. Direct play works reliably, but it looks like it is using software decode, because my phone heats up on even on 1080p content. Downloads functionality don’t work at all. Another review wrote that the app felt sluggish - I can’t confirm this. For me it works quick and stable! The only thing missing would be AppleTV support, or maybe I’m not doing something right. ### 5/5 — Its by far the most stable jellyfin streamer. *2025-06-01, version 1.0.0* The other ones aren’t well tuned for ipados or are unstable.
