### 5/5 — A Diamond in the Rough

*2025-05-16, version 1.19.14570*

In an age where the AppStore is flooded with uninspired games that only exist to make you watch ads and squeeze as much money as possible from you, Jellyvale is a pleasant and unique spin on the Match-3 Genre that I personally haven’t seen much of before. The team behind this project are extremely passionate and it shows with the fairytail book presentation and charming characters and setting. If you are looking for something new, Jellyvale I believe is worth giving a chance.

### 5/5 — Adore this game

*2025-04-06, version 1.18.14220*

I’m not usually one to write mobile game reviews, but I really really like/am slightly addicted to Jellyvale.
The dialogue is silly and cute, they do updates that ACTUALLY make a positive impact on gameplay and visuals, and there are no ads.
It is such a delicious snack for my stressed out brain. Run out of apples for levels? The customizable village will keep you occupied until there are more. Getting too used to the format of the levels? Hop down to the bee caves. It has simple variety that doesn’t pressure you to marathon the storyline - it actually makes you take your time. In a good way.

I recommend this game for sure!!

### 5/5 — I was targeted in an ad..

*2025-04-04, version 1.18.14220*

And it worked! ⭐️

I love a good match game but get bored with them quickly! Wildly enough I was actually looking for a new phone game to play and an ad for Jellyvale appeared on my Instagram. I decided to give it a shot because it looked fun and adorable!

Suffices to say I’m a big fan now since downloading it a few days ago! I especially love the designs of the jelly’s and the decorating aspect of the town.

Wishing the game and team much success! :)

### 5/5 — Cute & Fun!

*2025-03-26, version 1.17.13749*

The art style of the game is so adorable and very pleasing to look at. I have ADHD and sometimes mobile games can be too distracting or overstimulating but the sounds, music, and visuals really calm me down. It’s very relaxing to play and very different from other mobile games in the best way!

### 5/5 — Super cute and fun!

*2025-03-13, version 1.17.13749*

### 5/5 — kinda slay ngl

### 5/5 — Fun

*2025-02-08, version 1.16.13288*

Super fun and cute indie game! I highly recommend!

### 3/5 — Enjoyable But...

*2025-01-31, version 1.16.13288*

I enjoy playing this game and at the beginning it was fun to finish the quests! But now I'm starting to get further in the game and it feels impossible due to a lack of coins and/or gems. I mostly wish there were more ways to get coins as I want to remove rubble, do quests, build decor, buy powerups, etc. but by the time I spend it on just the quests I'm back down to 0 coins. It makes it difficult to clear my town so now it's just a mess of the little decor I do have since I never have enough coins or gems to clear the rubble. If there was either an increase in receiving coins or a decrease in spending the coins, this game would be an easy 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Great game and story

*2025-01-02, version 1.15.13220*

A new twist on the classic matching games! The characters and storyline are fun and charming.

### 5/5 — Thank you

*2024-12-14, version 1.14.13013*

Match games are my favorite-But with a bad memory, sometimes I forget what the obstacles do in these games. I’ve always wished for a button that would remind me of how to play against these obstacles. This game has, at long last, provided that button. For that small matter- I will continue playing.

### 5/5 — This game is the B E S T

*2024-12-07, version 1.14.13013*

Why u might ask? It has great models, and I love the little animals. You can find all sorts of stuff! And I haven’t gotten an ad at all, THIS GAME IS SO FUN-

### 5/5 — Adorable Game w/ No Adds!!

*2024-10-30, version 1.12.12094*

I saw this game on Tik Tok and was jus t looking for something to play when waiting or a little bored. It’s a super interactive matching game that has some really unique features. You complete tasks for the villagers in a town overrun and who need your help. Levels operate with intuitive mechanics and easily scaffolded challenges that progress without many points being stuck, at least as far as I’ve gotten. Each explore level lets you earn jelly colors that can be used to complete quests and build decor for the town. Speaking of which, the town can be customized and decorated however you want with the deco you can build and earn. There are so many interesting elements to this game and I can’t stop coming back to play more! Definitely a must download for fans of matching puzzle-like phone games and customizable world building games such as Animal Crossing!

### 5/5 — Relaxing and Cozy

*2024-10-25, version 1.12.12094*

I seen this game advertised and I’m a huge fan of match three games that you can decorate things and I also love an adventure game. This game has me hooked! The characters are so cute and the pieces are cute too!

### 5/5 — Cute game

*2024-09-23, version 1.10.10812*

It is a cute game and pretty different from your normal match games

### 5/5 — Cute game!!

adorbs storyline- so wholesome and surprisingly entertaining/relevant

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great game if you could play it

*2024-08-24*

10 minutes of play time unless you want to spend real money, could be amazing but I can’t play it 😢

### 1/5 — Boring

*2024-03-03, version 1.5.7645*

This game gets boring after u play for a while

### 2/5 — Energy system is bad

*2024-11-21, version 1.13.12474*

You run out of energy and can't play anymore...then I forget about it and play something else. Why would you want people to stop playing your game? Other than that it's ok.

### 2/5 — Purposely Has Levels That Are Unsolvable

*2024-09-16, version 1.10.10812*

It’s a cute game, very well animated and makes the match game aspect fun. No ads as well which is such a nice change. I’ve noticed that some of the levels are set up where you cannot make a move and need to use a power up. This seems to happen a lot. It is easy to earn but because these levels are set up to fail so often, you almost have to buy more before getting stuck. I’m assuming the developers way of earning money through the app since there are no ads, but not the best way to do that.

### 2/5 — Not worth the time, yet.

*2024-08-13, version 1.10.10812*

It’s cute and a lot of fun but the rate at which you gain apples is soooo slow. The amount of gems needed to complete a single quest quickly becomes very high while you typically only find one or two gems per round. If or when this is resolved I will come back and play more but currently it’s not a game I will reach for bc of these issues.

### 2/5 — Just ok

*2024-07-03, version 1.9.10409*

Levels are recycled. Gets repetitive and boring

### 2/5 — Not really free

*2024-05-28, version 1.7.9645*

I love it but I’ve reached a point in the game where you have to pay money to progress so it’s not actually free :( I’d rather pay money up front than get really into the game and have to stop playing

### 3/5 — Great game BUT

*2025-07-28, version 1.20.15259*

Love this game, but like other reviews it’s impossible to get very far without spending real money. Rewards are minimal and quests are hard to achieve.

### 3/5 — Lots that could be improved upon.

*2025-07-18, version 1.20.15259*

I would love this game more if you only lost apples if you lose a level. I hate that they take forever to replenish and unless you spend real dollars, it’s hard to play for longer than 20 minutes. Also, everything is soooo expensive for coins from the quests to clearing rubble. Other than selling jellies, there’s really no way to build a bank for coins. I’m currently doing a quest that’s going to take me probably 3 weeks to finish and honestly, it’s losing me. The only thing that keeps me playing is that it’s something easy to play when I need some downtime from work.

Other than that, I enjoy building the village but the actual game play? Make that more enticing to make people want to stick around via cheaper game play. (IE, consuming less apples per level, making tasks less expensive)

### 3/5 — A lot of waiting…

*2025-07-11, version 1.19.14570*

The game itself is cute and I love that there are no ads. I agree with other reviews, that it is a unique take on merge games and is enjoyable to play. However, I have been playing for just over a day and I can tell that this game will take a LOT of time and monitoring to actually make progress. One exploration will give you about 2-10 jellies total. But you will need a ton of jellies for both the quests and decorations because there are about 8 different colors/types of jellies. By the time I completed about 10 explorations, I only had enough jellies to complete one quest. And I’ve only just started the game!! Coins also run out super quick even though you need them for quests and to remove rubble. I wish there was an easy way to earn more coins and to get more jellies. Personally, I prefer games I can play for hours on end all at once, so I’ll probably be deleting the game.

*2026-03-10, version 1.28.17797*

i absolutely love this game! no ads and it is very very sweet. you have the game aspect, but it’s also really fun to build your town & interact with the other little characters. highly recommend!

### 5/5 — The cutest

*2026-03-01, version 1.28.17797*

I just love this game. Like candy crush but much better..

### 5/5 — great game!

*2026-02-03, version 1.27.17537*

it’s like a cross between animal crossing and candy crush, and i’ve been happily playing it for almost a year without spending a cent

### 5/5 — Adorable fun!

*2025-10-06, version 1.21.15957*

Great mix of match-3 and platforming, lots of fun!

### 5/5 — adorable, simple but engaging, no ads!

*2025-09-29, version 1.21.15957*

i saw an enticing ad for this on instagram because i was bored while watching my boyfriend watch football, and it ended up being awesome! the magic, little animal friends, and cute little town that was promised was all delivered. it isn’t a regular match-3, you’re actively matching for specific items for your quests. bonus points because my cat likes to watch me play it because of the fun colors!

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2025-08-26, version 1.20.15259*

Needs way to connect with Facebook or apple connect to save your progress

### 5/5 — Jollyville

*2025-08-19, version 1.20.15259*

I am truly enjoying this game. I give it five stars.

### 5/5 — What mobile games used to be

*2025-08-10*

I LOVE this game. The storylines are cute and the ability to decorate the town is a nice addition to the classic match 3 game. Overall it really reminds me of what earlier mobile games were like. No ads, actually fun, and it works.

Apple cost can be high but losing is subjective, since you can get some rewards but not all in a level. It only takes one apple to repeat the entire level if you want to retry it. I don’t mind too much because getting forced to wait is good. It’s an excellent, not overstimulating or anxiety inducing break and then pushes me back to working.

### 5/5 — So cute

*2025-07-01, version 1.19.14570*

5/5 simply for the twilight reference in Lily's fan fiction journal. Chefs kiss! Had me dying!!
